Well it's not that difficult to understand.

 

If you think about NS in kind of a real life situation the guy would already have moved on or atleast would be trying very hard to move on after not getting his feelings  requited even after doing every thing possible to make the girl happy, and realise that he loves her. Also after you know that a friend of yours told her how you felt for her and she still does not think of you romantically, I think it is seriously unhealthy for that guy to still want to be with that girl.

 

Actually the only thing that keeps this ship sailing according to me is Naruto's attitude of never giving up, and his selfless feelings is the main reason many fell in love with NS whereas Sakura's stupid feelings is the reason many jumped this ship

 

Why does Kishi have to do this to Naruto's feelings? Why does a girl's feelings have to be stronger than a guy's-- no wait, the main character's feelings. It's tragic, really.

most guys but not all of them. I ain't. I been in love with this girl(profile pixture) for years and I ain't giving up on her. Never will. It depends on the type of person you is. NARUTO is extremely confident and he knows he will win her over eventually.

Well Naruto isn't that kind of person. He does what he does because thats who he is, he would save everyone and treats everyone the same.

Quite frankly he never actually persued Sakura in the way some ppl do or would think....any he would say to Sakura was really in a comedic fashion, but he understands that he likes her and that the ball his in her court and if she wants come over than she will.

 

On a side note, if there is no NS conclusion in the ending of the manga, I would really like to know (in the movie) why Naruto liked Sakura in the first place (just curiois) and I would like to see Sakura's thoughts on what exactly made Naruto the one for her and it has to be more than just the fact the he is and always will be there....which I think Kishi realzies because she's said that before, but she has yet to experience a full revelation/realiziation. Kishi has to essentially give a definition for love.

 

Actually as I write this I believe I get what Kishi is going for or more so I hope this is what he goes for....the fact that Naruto always being there hasnt made Sakura complelty fall in love with him (or so we think) and the fact that Sasuke is evil hasnt made Sakura fully neglect her feelings for him....rather like I said Kishi needs a real, beautiful, romantic reason for NS, which is what I am hoping the Movie would do, but these Nh teases, plus the plot and story line are making me nervous.

 

 

Also, I hope there is no BS, where sakura is like you know what naruto, i think hinata is good for you.....that would be absolute kitten

Man if Thursday's chapter turned out to be bad for NS that would just be an asspull to make NH canon because outta nowhere Kishi just suddenly makes Naruto fall for Hinata instead when he doesn't even think her more than just friends.

To me it's pretty simple. If you're developing a pairing in writing, you have them develop in terms of their relationship with each other. You can't really argue that Kishi has made Naruto consistently develop a relationship with any girl aside from Sakura. It's gone from finding Naruto annoying and an obstacle, to realizing she was wrong about him all along, to desperately wanting to help Naruto toward his goals--resulting in what is now an unselfish type of love. Even if the romantic implications have not yet been explicitly stated.

And Naruto? Well, we've been told more than once that he has a thing for Sakura, with nothing to indicate that his feelings have changed. (If they had, Kishi would have put that in the manga.)

So, that coupled with the fact that these two have grown closer over the span of the manga pretty much makes the author's intentions obvious. KWIM? Hey, I'm no good at fiction writing, but having read plenty of stories and having studied a bit about writing and storytelling in school, I do know how writing works.

 

NH has counterarguments, of course, though the ones I have seen tend to draw conclusions from the manga that really seem extremely vague in comparison to was NaruSaku has, and something you have to wear pairing glasses to see...JMO. *shrug* 

 

So, I really don't think Kishi's going to throw all of that away. Neither do I think he's been unaware of what he's been doing with two main characters. 

 

Anywho, my break is almost over.
