Why do you care about the movie? NaruHina fans are hyping this up, but they don't understand anything or the consequences of supporting the movie.

 

Hinata was rejected by Naruto when they were kids and this makes her cry. It traumatizes her enough that she isn't able to give him a scarf 10 years later. NH fans have been saying for years that Naruto makes Hinata strong, that she got braver after the confession, that she would have died for him. However, in the movie, Hinata cannot give him a present. This is pathetic and weak of her, and she's like this because of Naruto.

 

Friends give presents to each other, but Hinata can't do even that. This means they're not in a relationship. It also means that Naruto isn't in love with her, even after everything that happened between them in the manga. Sacrificing her life for Naruto and confessing her love? Mattered not. Supporting him against Obito and giving him courage? Mattered not either. She's still just his friend. Remember all those arguments that he was considering her love confession and that's why he didn't answer her confession? He wasn't. Nobody takes two years considering if they should date someone.

 

It also implies everything that happened between them was platonic from Naruto's side. Going Kyubi on Pain? Platonic. Handhold? Platonic. Yet NH fans said otherwise. That Hinata confession made Naruto love her. That Naruto saying that he saw her feelings in her eyes, was a hint that Naruto loved her. That the handhold was yet another hint that he loved her. That him reacting to her thinking of him before entering IT was the final hint that he loved her. But none of that is true if we are to believe the movie's advertisement. Their development (if we call it that) might have made them close, but it wasn't romantic, like we've always said.

 

Even if NH is made canon in the movie (doubt it), it means they got everything wrong but who ended up with who. All the development (if we call it that) and all those arguments NH fans babbled for years were irrelevant. Naruto didn't fall for her because of anything that happened in the manga, and that's hillarious. NH fans always said that their development and relationship and moments made their ship canon. It's not true. Nothing that happened in the manga mattered outside of making them close. It took two years (so not connected with the manga's plot) and a filler movie for that to happen (and I'm saying this if it happens, which I doubt).

 

I'm a Sakura fan above everything. I'll be happy with whoever she ends up with, as long as she's happy. As an ANH fan, this movie pleases me and I don't get why NH fans are happy about it, since it proves ANH right about everything we've always said and NH fans wrong about everything they've always said, with the exception of who ends up with who. All they'll be able to brag about is that they end up together. They will celebrate that and kitten, but to themselves? Bitterness. All their nonsense arguments supported by the manga are irrelevant and wrong. All their LAPs and essays? Wrong.

 

Unless they're really just that stupid.

I'd be worried about the movie if things didn't come full circle with the whole;

 

Kushina: "Find someone like your mother."

 

Minato: "This girl kinda reminds me of Kushina."

 

But since it did and since we know how much Kishimoto loves to over use parallels as a story telling technique..

I've been thinking over this for a while and I jumped to some conclusions (some are assumptions but not blind assumptions..)
The major loopholes I found in NH are as follows (it includes SS argument too...)
1. In Hinata's childhood she started loving Naruto (but the fact is, I've never seen a 5 year old baby falling in "LOVE"....Mind it, like and love are completely different)
2. Ppl say she loved him when no one loved him


Btw, I didn't help Naruto...even an innocent child can help, even if it's little,
Doing little things & doing nothing are different
3. Hinata knew about his childhood, but did she know there's something inside him???
4. Pein arc: The biggest argument on Pro/Anti NH
Well I agree she was willing to die for him...ok..fine
They say "Sakura can never die for someone"
(SO, wasn't Sakura almost stabbed by Sasori?)
A ninja is one who has heart strong enough to die....
Dying might be difficult to us, but a ninja must be a READY TO DIE person...
And probably team 7 came across dying for each other situation more than others
5. Hinata even if, loves him, knows nothing about his feelings
She must come across this (A good pairing is one that has come across many shortcomings & situations, even the one-sidedness of it for knowing how much they are in love)
6. If Naruto moves on from Sakura to Hinata (leaving Sakura alone) it will prove he didn't love Sakura
It was just infatuation ..that makes Naruto's feelings shallow

here, the SS argument begins,

May be Sakura goes with Sasuke because of which Naruto accepts the fact & moves on....
Here my assumptions begin
I think,
The reason why Lucy (fairy tail) wears a cloak is the reason why Sasuke wears a poncho
(He doesn't have left hand anymore...)

If he really cares for Sakura (not loves...) ..then he'll probably get away from her since, she'll be regretting each time she'll see him (that she was failed ..)
And possibly, he'll consider himself a BURDEN
So he may leave Konoha (..again, I don't see any forehead protector or konoha ninja outfit...so it is 70-80% possible)
7. "Sakura deserves Sasuke." ...but does it go the other way round???
I don't think Sasuke will say "Sakura, let's get together!"
8. Sakura is rooting for Hinata in the trailer
Ummm...Couldn't i take it as "Sakura thinks she doesn't deserve Naruto....One who deserves him is Hinata...(according to her)"??

great post but I personally believe Naruto would never move on from his Sakura-Chan it would be either her or no one.

I'm not sure either, since it seems like some people are basing it on how Naruto's expression is in the flashback with him and Hinata, as well as Hinata's being in tears, Natalie. Call it a hunch from those who are saying it.

His expression in the flashback was about something else. Something concerning Hinata like confidence or something else along that line.

 

Naruto isn't a jerk to do that if someone gave him a scarf.

Guys I just have to say I can't believe this is it….like wow….been watching Naruto for so long now, since the first weekend of high school, now i'll be graduating college this semester, man it kinda sucks its ending, so sad.

 

I started a manga like an year ago and I wanna say I joined this site sometime before than, but its been just fantastic talking to you guys and going through the ups and down. Plus having a place to vent, usually this stuff just eats me up. Hopefully we all stay active for long long time.
