Great post Awes9 and great blog post you linked to. I agree, I don't care about anything that happens going forward. I don't believe that there will be two more chapters. Sounds like an NH fantasy. Why bother with adding to the manga when NH had a whole movie devoted to making them canon? And why put focus on SS when they couldn't spare even two minutes in the movie? Even in the illustration of the family portrait, a mutually happy SS is not shown. So why give pages in a chapter to an SS romance and kiss? 
 
Sounds to me damage control and wish fulfillment. So if it's magically increased from Kishimoto adding two pages to the volume instead to two whole chapters...then I'll believe it when I see it.
 
Anyway, about the blog post, this the part I love best:
 
He had two years to write something that lead to the ending we got in chapters 699-700.  Two years to link the manga to what The Last is selling us.  Why wouldn’t he take advantage of that time to make his manga flow sensibly?  Why did he make Sasuke and Sakura’s interactions painful to watch—so bad that it has been triggering for some people who have suffered from abuse?  Why doesn’t Naruto begin to reciprocate Hinata’s feelings in some way?  Why do Hinata and Naruto converse a total of 15 times (with ONLY 6 in part two) in 700 chapters of manga?  Why does Naruto tell his father that Sakura is his girlfriend?  Why does Minato verify that the “girl like me” that Naruto’s mother mentioned is indeed Sakura?  Why does Sakura literally hold Naruto’s heart in her hand and pump it?  Ironically, her medi-nin skills were useless during this moment for him—so Hinata could have played this role if Kishimoto had wanted her to.  When an author wants something to happen, he or she can and will write to make it happen.  Kishimoto did not write to make NaruHina or SasuSaku happen.

This kitten is one if things that pissed me off the most with this series. Sakura was always excluded when it came to Naruto & Sasuke's relationship.
Whose a main character? Definitely not Sakura
Whose actually been there for Naruto 24/7, and hasn't tried to kill him? Definitely not Sakura
Whose actually worked for her abilities, and didn't need some God to give it to her? Definitely not Sakura
Who actually has treated Naruto as a best friend, and not some retribution for some kittening eye power? Most definitely not Sakura
Sasuke didn't deserve jack kitten from either Naruto or Sakura, but look at where we're at now

Yeah, it's a horrible mess. I mean can you imagine no Sasuke? Or at least rewrite Sasuke differently. I mean Naruto and Sakura were like the one you see everywhere today and past, but apparently, Kishi can't choose a focus and just say screw it. It's terrible. That's why I want to buy off those two exactly.

Well going with what we know I can assume she never confessed because she deduced correctly that Naruto only loved her because he was just trying to one up Sasuke. Once she found out that to be true all her feelings for him were gone.

 LOL if this is indeed the case, that Naruto actually never loved sakura romantically but only to compete with Sasuke then...Hinata can have Naruto. It wasn't enough to make Sasuke look like an kitten, they had to make Naruto, the main character who was never shown to have such ill intentions with people, an kitten as well. It's not even about Narusaku anymore. It's about Naruto as the main character, the hero of the story. They butchered him.

In other news, I was successfully able to incorporate Deidara/explosion jokes into my story. Feelin' might powerful right about meow.

4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”

5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.

TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.

Yeah, it's a horrible mess. I mean can you imagine no Sasuke? Or at least rewrite Sasuke differently. The fact that he still got love from both Naruto & Sakura even after he tried to kill them more than once astounds me. He's lucky he had people like that who actually care for him so much, because I would've been kicked his ass to the curb and moved the kitten on with my life

Yes Sasuke was completely undeserving of the forgiving treatment and ending he got but if you think about it..he was always the #1 basher of sasusaku & sasunaru. Sasuke never had feelings for Sakura never gave a crap about Naruto and yet Kikitten himself ignores this characters' feelings and wishes just to have his people-pleasing fanservice ending.
If this story had been a real event with natural interaction and no interference from an author Sasuke would've ended up dead and Naruto & Sakura would've became a couple.
The real ending is so forced and unrealistic...

They are but this one is about the fact Sakura gets a moment but completely shafted by others that keeps having her look like third rate. I kept giving Kishi chances but he keeps ruining it more and more that I couldn't defend her anymore.

I want to buy them out...

Popularity and money are 2 factors that Kishi admitted played a great part in the way Naruto manga developed. Taking these facts into account how can anyone believe what happened was planned ? It's obvious there's nothing natural about this ending and that it doesn't make sense in the context of the manga.
There's nothing we can do about it but we can still enjoy the tons of fanfic and fanarts at least the people who make them are passionate while Naruto canon is souless and only there to make profits.
RIP Naruto canon, one of the many sacrifices in the name of money and corporate kitteny.
