Troika Parallel is one of my favorite running NaruSaku series and it's a crossover with 3 series that can't really co-exist together (Harry Potter, Inuyasha, Naruto). I think that most anything can be done if people write it well ^__^.

I've also read some fics where Sakura was being abused by Sasuke and escaped to Naruto's, only to go back to Sasuke. There's no way in hell Naruto would let Sakura go back to Sasuke after THAT. Don't give me the "As long as she's happy" argument. She goes to Naruto because she is not.

Nope I can't see that either. Unless Sakura is a good actor and Naruto didn't know it was that serious. Although it would be an interesting story if Sakura went back despite Naruto not wanting her to return to an abusive situation.

Roflmfao XD How could I hate you? Nah I was just joking around. It's because in my fic Naruto is super powered. HOWEVER, He doesn't have a blood line limit or any extraordinary time stopping powers O_o

I do have him train for 5 years to achieve that power and he has a small arsenal of strong demonic jutsus. I have given him a couple of weakness. His inexperience in battle. Pein, Uchicha Madara, and Jiraiya are all stronger than him. Itachi and Kakashi are on par with him.

I just don't like it when people dismiss all over powered Naruto fics. They say it's not canon and Naruto would never be that strong. But then again it is fanfiction. Also, we all know that he is going to go SS4 at the end of the series and pwn everyone

I know some of them can get outrageous and destroy his character. But I like the ones where he is reasonably powerful. Has some weaknesses. Doesn't have a blood line or some doujutsu. Doesn't go cold and starts hating everyone, especially Sakura, go figure......>_>

lol, yeah, I figured as much . I couldn't agree more with you though. That would be a weakness that would hurt Naruto; inexperience it battle. I mean, I can definitely see him having all the power in the world, but he wouldn't have the knowledge of how to best utilize it. I guess the best comparison would be SS3 Gotenks vs. Super Buu. Sure, the two combined were powerful, but they were showboating and wasting valuable time in battle. I could see Naruto being similar, excluding the showboating. He'd have his emotions and temper to worry about as well.

Yeah, same goes for him becoming cold. I'm sorry, it's just...he's too much of a good guy to do that. Now, say that he was like that at an early age, then I see it plausible. The only way I could see Naruto going cold on us would be if he either lost Sakura, or she began to seriously hate him (which is about as likely as Tsunade doing PSAs on the problems with gambling and alcohol). lol, ah, that would be funny though.

On a sidenote...Naruto going Super Saiyan 4??? lol, that be outrageous. Going all mad at first, then becoming perfect in form. True, you may have helped me with a writer's block on my story Here and Now...

When really amazing ideas are written and it looks like a train wreck. I used to do that. When I had a great idea I'd just write it down as fast as I could just to see what others would think of it. But I really hate it now.

I mean really?! The idea is so underdeveloped when they write it. Screw the details, here's my story! Please. Think about what you're writing. Wait till the exact details come to you. Ugh!


Another would have to be poor pairings with little to no character develpment... it just HAPPENS. SASUKE WILL NOT SAY I LOVE YOU TO SAKURA THE WAY HE IS! GET USED TO IT! WRITE ME A STORY THAT MAKES ME BELIEVE IT! *throws hands up in the air*

They fail in all boundries.

One: Naruto is NOT in a clan, he does NOT want five mistresses, he just wants SAKURA.

Two: They make him with 'fem' Haku, Hinata, Tenten, Temari, Tsunade, Kurenai, Shizune, etc.

It infuriates me at how people stroll in and make Naruto a f***ing pimp. People today don't hold many mistresses, especially in Japan, where the manga is made.


I know their is a bigger change of me farting lightning then a Harem coupling happening, but it still makes me furious how they degrade Naruto like that, even in a fanfiction.

Harem couplings won't happen in the manga that's for sure. But what are the chances of NaruHina and SasuSaku happening? Or how about NaruSasu or KksIrk? Just because they aren't canon doesn't mean people can't write and enjoy them!

You need to lighten up! It's fanfiction anyways! I'll admit that I don't like harems where the girls are treated as mistresses, but I do enjoy the ones with love triangles!

Something I find just as weird as MPREG is a female Haku. I know that he looks like a girl, and if he didn't say otherwise I would have believed it. But, right after he said he was a boy, something just felt wrong. I can't imagine or pretend him as a female.

I always have this doubt in the back of my head saying "yeah he looks like a girl, but he said he was a boy!!" That's just too weird It's like a cross dresser or transgender kind of thing, not my cup of tea.

I have a lot of fanfiction peeves, and there are very few stories that I deem to be "perfect". The following are a few of my major dislikes.

1. Using the "Spelling and grammar check" function in Microsoft Word - Honestly, it's not very physically strenuous to click a button or two. Of course, proof reading chapters before submission is far better, but people who don't wish to do so could at least make their stories readable by spell checking.

2. Using proper English, rather than txt-talk - Do I have to say more? It's rather hard to take someone seriously if they write their sentences in txt-talk.

3. Unnecessary swearing - Swear only when it is necessary. Doing so in the narration to describe something shows the author's limited vocabulary, so please use an appropriate adjective/adverb when applicable. Do not describe something with a swear word.

4. A story that is focussed around character bashing - While I understand that some people dislike some characters more than others, this should not affect their writing to a large extent. A small amount of bashing is tolerable, but stories which have bashing as their main goal often lack a plot and thus end up unreadable.

5. Copying a common plot wholesale - If you intend to write something, please do not use an idea that has been done to death. This is not a "must-have", but it is highly advisable to write a story that has your personal touches to it rather than following a fixed template.

6. Overpowered original characters - OCs are sometimes necessary in order to move a story's plot forward, but please don't massacre a story by turning them into godlike figures who can do no wrong. It removes the elements of suspense/drama from the plot as it becomes predictable, with the OC dominating the scene.

7. Overpowered self-inserts - I'm against self-inserts on principle, but if you really have to write one, please resist the temptation to turn yourself into god's gift to man/woman and a Jinchuuriki with 15 bloodlines. Why? See number 6.

8. Pairing/plot polls - If you decide to write a story, please have the basic outline of it in mind. If you run out of ideas, take a break to think about it or discontinue it. Please do not take polls asking reviewers what you should do next. What happens in a piece of writing should be decided by the author and the author alone, not the reviewers.

9. Unrealistic Kekkei Genkai - For example, I do not think that a bloodline which allows for someone to stop time indefinitely would make for some very realistic fights. By the way, I just came up with that one off the top of my head, so it is most definitely not directed at anyone.

For now, that is all. I might make another post when I remember the rest of my peeves.

Man, if people made Haku, transgender. I would be shocked! Shocked! And I'd definitely read the story.

There was a Haku that was transgender in the sense that the author made him say he was a guy, but he had girl parts. But of course it couldn't stay that way, because it was a Harem anime and Naruto needs more vag! Naruto proceeded to bully Haku into admitting he was sexually a girl. WTF was that kitten? I guess not only did that story had an overpowered Naruto, but he was the prickiest prick that ever pricked. And once again the story reeked of wish fulfillment, so I gotta question what kind of a person the author is...

What's disturbing about it to me is that the majority of these Fem Haku stories is an attempt to pair Naruto off with another girl. The author is so averse to slash that they're willing to change Haku's gender, because heck he's pretty enough and he's strong, and he treats Naruto good. Perfect girl!

Except for the fact that he's a boy.

Ugh. Author's who do that need to get over themselves and their latent homophobia.

Not saying that everyone who genderbends is doing that (I've read an excellent female!Kakashi story that isn't an allowance for the author to pair him off with Gai wihout being squicked), but with Haku I can't help but feel that's the case.

Yes, he's a guy and that's a canon fact since it hasn't been countered against. However, I won't read a fanfic that keeps him alive and a guy. It's a pet peeve of mine when mangaka's create characters that look like females, and dress them that way to, but end up introducing them as males.

Haku's character isn't deep enough to not change his gender in fanfiction. Even his flashbacks are empty of describing Haku as a male. So it's not difficult to turn him into a female plot twists as many fanfic authors have done.

Also, anybody could easily tell that guy is a guy.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up, but one of my fanfiction pet peeves is how they destroy Sakura's character in some of them.....they make her into a total b*tch because that's how she was in the beginning, but now (and somewhere in the beginning of the Forest of Death (I think)), Sakura's personality changes of that of being a b*tch to being a nice girl with a small temper problem to Naruto.

Call me a fanboy, but I hate the injustice they bring onto Sakura for how she acted in the beginning.

She's not always screaming "Sasuke! Sasuke! oh my precious Sasuke!" or how she gets pissed at Naruto for bringing back a hurt Sasuke....what do they expect!? him to be perfectly fine, but unconcious?

God that kind of thing pisses me off to no end....if your going to bring someone back and you know they're going to end up fighting, one of them has to come back as a mess, maybe even both.

The reason most fics do that is if they are trying to pair up Naruto with another character. They know that he likes her a lot, and it would take something dramatic such as her getting really angry to make him forgot about her. What I don't like is when I try to read a story with another pairing and they still make her out to be some fangirl/kitten after the timeskip. I can understand doing so before the PoaL, but after that I just find it hard to believe.

What annoys me is how in harem fics people always vote for Hinata to be in there, and hate on Sakura. I can never understand why/how she has so many fanboys that love her character when quite frankly her personality annoys me. Whenever I see a voting harem fic, the reviewers are like "Hinata must be in it hands down!!!!" and I just get tired of her. I mean there are plenty of NaruHina stories out there, why must she also always be in the harems as well!
