I don't really get why you and Lee are angsting so much over this movie, krisk 
It's like you both refuse to even give it a chance, because the director didn't use actors with the right 'ethnicity'.
This is Hollywood. Honestly, what else did you expect to happen?
But the pics that have been released so far look pretty good to me, and I'm willing to give this movie a chance instead of shooting down practically everything that is released before the movie is even open.
But I also know that everyone is entitled to his or her own views on any subject matter, so while I don't really agree with how you both seem to view this upcoming movie, I understand that this is how you feel and I respect your opinions on it

Well, like you said,, its hollywood but it doesn't make it any easier. However, your right, it hasn't even come out yet. So im still willing to give it a shot. M Night did make some pretty dumb movies(The Village, The Happening), but he also made some really good ones at the same time.

The ethnicity thing did bother me at first but I got over it. Now I'm just angsting over the loss of Zuko's ponytail, scar, and sudden appearance of his "missing" eyebrow D: Other than that, I have nothing else to complain about... except the lack of Toph but that's another story...

I'm still having mixed feelings about this movie, but you better beleive ill be in the front row on opening night.

I'm new to Avatar, since I just got the first season (haven't watched it yet). But the teaser is out. I have to admit, it does look pretty cool, although I'm worried about how this may turn out in the end. It certainly won't be DB Evolution.

Thougb visually, some things may not be up to our standards, I think this will turn out quite a bit better than DragonBall: Evolution. Less of a fan fic. But we will see...

I'm quite neutral, it could be a much better adaptation, but.... better have Sifu Kisu working with them on martial arts choreography! 
Also, hope they have a kickass Iroh. By the looks of the trailer, I do hope Aang isn't angsty or serious, that'd be quite OOC.
