Airichan again, eh?  Well, like everyone here has said, just ignore her.

Really, it's just a waste of time trying to debate with others who clearly do not know how to.  Not even the best debater on the planet could even stand trying to exchange views with her.

So, we'll just sit back and see what the manga has.   As I created a NaruSaku wallpaper for myself using the manga panels, I was amazed to see just how many of them there were - and reading them all has me absolutely convinced that SOMETHING is going to happen.

And it sure as hell isn't S***S***.

As far as I'm concerned, that debate thread is just dead.  It was fantastic for the first few pages, but it's just time to let it go.  When we do get (and we WILL get them) more manga ammo, we'll just let the fanboys/girls choke on those pages while we enjoy reading them.

Nowhere Man put it wonderfully in an author note in his fic "The One I Still Loved".  Sasuke's past is no excuse for him to behave like an ass.  Just because you've been wronged does not give you the right to trample upon and hurt others.

Naruto's had an equally painful - if not worse - past, and look how he turned out.  Do you see him trying to hurt the villagers?  Do you see him even considering letting the fox loose?  No, he tries to protect everyone.

I really don't see why many Sasuke fans are blind to the truth.  There are some, such as Spectrum, who do see that he's becoming darker and more selfish - but there are still so many who think he's justified in his behaviour.  Which is stupid.

Kishi could not have made it any clearer.  Sasuke is darkness, the winter while Naruto is the light, the spring.  Naruto tried to save him, but Sasuke CHOSE to cross the line and go over to the other side - forsaking his friends in the process.

Kishi also compares Sakura to a flower in parts of the manga.  It's even in her name.  In general, she blossoms and feels stronger around Naruto, while she wilts around Sasuke.

Now, think of this.  Why do we love NaruSaku so much and hate S***S***?  Because of how Kishi wrote them!  Nothing to do with how "cute" they look (though Naruto and Sakura do look very cute together, hehe).  It's all about how they make each other feel.

It's clearly that Sasuke purpose in the manga is to end up as a bad guy. He almost kill Naruto for the darn revenge. I just can't see Sasuke turning up good and telling how he feels towards someone, that isn't his style. Sakura needs some who understands her like Naruto (she even says it in 183) Naruto is the only one who can let her bloom into a beautiful cherry blosom while Sasuke in his cold way could only make her wilt like Smiter-kun said. In other words and terms this applys to the heaven and earth saying again. Naruto is earth while Sakura is heaven and both can't live without eachother (even Iruka use them both as example ) Just wait 'til the three years passes and see how right we are, absence makes feeling grow fonder and since Sakura has new perspectives of Naruto but left very quickly, this will let Sakura reasoning with her feelings without any of them around.

Hehe, I can see that happening with the SasuSaku FC. Can you imagine this? Naruto and Sakura are a very happy couple, and they're going to get married. They're exchanging vows at the aisle, watched by their family and friends. Gai is blubbing and yelling about the springtime of youth (before being silenced by Kakashi or Lee).

All the while, you have SasuSaku fans insisting that Sasuke will burst in at the last moment, declare his love for Sakura, and they'll elope.

I love the Heaven and Earth reference, Keira-chan. I used to think NaruSaku had a good chance. Now I'm convinced that something BIG will happen between them. SasuSaku have had strictly one-sided stuff which they try to read too much into (ending up seeing things that are plainly not there). NaruHina has one-sided stuff also but it has a much better chance because Hinata is a nice girl, and Naruto might be shown thinking Sakura only loves Sasuke and trying to "move on". But NaruSaku have had constant development, and clear hints on both sides. There's those important unresolved moments (such as the Henge and the Gaara fight), and we also get references such as Heaven and Earth, light and darkness.

I can't wait to see what happens next in the manga after the Kakashi story is finished. You never know, Kakashi Gaiden might even be connected to the main story in a way!

I wouldl really enjoy debating with them. Not to brag, but I'm a pretty good debater. It's cause I never quit, and I will look for the tiniest details to support it. Also I'm obsessive. XD When I have too much time on my hands, I usually make essays about pairings. Although when it comes to NaruSaku, I speculate a lot. Because there's just a lot of stuff that you feel needs to be unleashed onto us, still.

You know, I wonder what Sakura_chan would make of the fillers in Episode 109? She was fond of including fillers in her arguments (even if the fillers were pretty weak evidence, as in her insistence that Sakura realised about the Henge in Episode 3 - when it was plainly not true).

1 - Teuchi says Sakura is Naruto's girlfriend, making him the THIRD person to comment on their being a couple. Konohamaru was the first, and Gamakichi the second (with Gamabunta smirking in response).

2 - Naruto offered to walk Sakura home, and she smiles and thanks him for the offer, telling him she'll be fine and not to worry.

109 was very NaruSaku. I suppose that the SasuSakus will still protest and point at that SINGLE "thank you" line from Sasuke. Sheesh, there is a difference between reading underneath the underneath and seeing things that are not there.

It's just silly to concentrate on only a single vague line when everything else points the other way.

In my opinion, the SasuSaku ship was sunk by the HMS NaruSaku's cannons.

Nobody has ever asked Sakura if Sasuke was her boyfriend and viceversa, I think is because the ppl around them notice that they're love (sakura's side) is superficial and that it doesn't work.

Even Kakashi mentioned that Sakura was way too hung up on Sasuke. He couldn't see why she was so besotted with him. A lot of anime olders could notice how Naruto and Sakura seem to suit each other so well (which they do) and so automatically assume they're together.

Maybe we could see them after the time skip, Naruto and Sakura are staring at each other amazed how much they changed. Kakashi casually strolls past (reading his Ichi Ichi Paradise) humming "Love is in the air". XD

Man, I'm such an idiot. Today I had a talk with my teacher, she told me it was prolly impossible to pass her class and that my essay was cruddy and you know what stupid thing I did?
