That is if he is smart. One more is needed to release Volume 40. It takes 10 chapters to release the next volume 41. Dude can easily sell 1 million copies per volume.
Buuuuuuuuuuuuut, as proven in fall 2014, Togashi doesn't give a kitten, and will prob pull the break with 10 chapters -_-

That is true. Sitting the way manga drawers do can really hurt them.

 

I was talking about the economic aspects though. Drawing one more chapter wouldn't have changed too much (unless he was scheduled to have another surgery right after the 9th chapter).
