meh, its typical dbz fighting which im honestly tired of. uberhikari of youtube said it best; a fight is never supposed to be an end in itself, its just a tool that the author uses as means to explore deeper idealogical meanings of the plot/narative/story.
in BoG, its just goku protecting earth (again) and bills is fighting cuz he's bored.
edit: not saying dbz always had deep stuff in its fights though cuz dbz isnt about that XD but after naruto, it taught me theres more to shows than just fights

Yes, but when you show is bad, you might as well play safe by being a summer flick, aka all action.

That's the main problem with Naruto though
A show doesn't exactly needs to be deep, and it isn't a rule that the "fights" need to be a tool for other themes
DBZ is just good natured fun, comedy and fights with a good amount of anxiety and dread at the right times. A simple true battle shonen
It was always like this and became famous with this. It doesn't try to sell profound messages or whatever, people watch DBZ because it's fun to see ceratin characters antics and their power measures at the end of the arcs
Naruto tried to be too deep, and that's were it failed
In the beginning Kishimoto could handle the level of "deepness" well enough, probably because he had help from Yahagi ( his first editor and the one who pratically "wrote" naruto at first)
However a little after Pein arc, Kishi made a mistake, he introduced a lot of more complex themes within the story when he had no capability as a writer to make these themes believable, so we ended up getting stupid resolutions on the concepts of "forgiveness", "peace" and" hatred", futhermore Kishi also managed to ruin the themes he also had developed in the story before, he managed to ruin the "hardwork plot theme" by asspulling powers left and right and also managed to ruin the "destiny plot theme" (a plot theme that was essential in part 1 to both Neji and Naruto's character) by making Naruto into some kind of child of prophecy and reincarnation of a freaking demigod
So yeah, "deepness" doesn't mean kitten if the author doesn't know how to handle it
I will be forever glad DB/DBZ remained the simple battle shonen it was and didn't tried to be deep for the sake of being deep

it was alright that naruto tried to be deep but the problem was that it tried to out deep its deep if that makes sense.
for me, when i first saw naruto, it reminded me of what makes story and characters motivations and personalities important. I think too much of dbz rotted my brain a bit x3 all that matter was "who's gonna get stronger" while humans and a namek got left in the dust (bad writing/handling but i don't blame toriyama as he was forced to continue his series by fans and his higher ups)
yes i did watch other shows like ed, edd n eddy, dexters lab, outlaw star, yuyu hakusho, ruroni kenshin, cyborg 009, samurai jack, etc. but everyone who grew up in the 90's/early 2000's, dbz ruled television, there's no denying that fact. Granted i now love the shows i mentioned above more than dbz now.

At least we can all agree that Goku would never let his combat skills get rusty like Naruto did with his. xD

he's a dead beat dad though. =o
but lets face it, even superman wouldn't be able to be a good father and a world protector at the same time.
naruto has clones though so he has no excuse =p

its peace time so training is now illegal?
Yet they still send their children to learn how to kill people. Oh excuse me, how to be a ninja.
Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.
These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

Not only him
Don't forget about Kushina and Minato...oh and Jiraya too
Was there going to be more movies after the Boruto one? I recall hearing that Pierrot had more movies planned with the new Gen.
No, they haven't stated such thing...yet
Tbh I just want the series to die but really the world of Naruto is interesting, in the hands of another person a good story could come out of it...so if somehow another person does a story based on Nartuo's worls with another set of characters it might be good....

Goku isn't really a deadbeat dad though. For the first five years of Gohan's life, he was there for him. He died to save him from Raditz and then he needed to stay dead to train against the Saiyans. He arrives and the first thing he does is save his son. He's the only one who can fight Nappa and Vegeta, so he sends Gohan and Krillin away to stop them from dying. Nappa and Vegeta are defeated. Gohan decided on his own to go to Namek, which Goku couldn't go at first because of his injuries from Vegeta.he's a dead beat dad though. =o

I'm still not convinced honestly. take note that i don't blame goku himself, rather the situation he's was put into. Goku's heart is in the right place but, i still can't see him being a great father and the worlds protector at the same time. thats just me though.
you know something, with this kiba chapter i've seen, he reminds me a lot of yamcha. which is sad, i liked yamcha. i liked kiba to, and its sad that the term "yamcha" is just another word for "failure" around the internet.
