kittening really!?!?!?!??! Sakura and Sasuke aside, which I was prepared for, the ending gave us nothing! So what your going to use a kitten montage movie to inform us what really happened to cause all those ugly children.....
This entire thing is a pussy cop out the truth is Kishi is scared to upset the fanbases so he leaves the last actual manga chapter inconclusive kitten! Insert movie here that is technically canon but not really then time skip to a future story about the children wherein we bits and pieces I'm sure of the parents romantic story.,.,,,,,,I sincerely hope the Japanese fanbase is as upset by this utter let down as we are and boycotts anything to do with this next gen kitten. Additionally if this was has way of detaching people from this particular work so he could write/work on another story I hope he never again has the popularity of this series due to his astounding incompetence at storytelling.
Ironically Kishi and Naruto seem to have both given up ........

Sorry but 615 wasn't any kind of development, even if NH is canon. You've got Hinata comforting Naruto about Neji's death, which is the best character to do so. She even react to that pointless death. He transfer chakra through handholding and that's it.

 

Not in denial here, NH is canon but I won't acknowledge 615 as development.

 

Maybe it wasen't development, but more of a foreshadow that he may like hinata more than just a friend in the future. I mean it is strange that he says that she was always there by his side meanwhile completely forgetting about what sakura did for him in the beginning. same goes for the cpr scene notice that naruto dosen't even thank sakura for saving him from NEAR DEATH.

I'm gonna go with the editor................I kinda saw this coming,If kishi had to make NaruSaku canon he would loose 70% of the fandom(international) and that sure won't help the upcoming "The New Era Project" manga he might be working on.

No NH here, but it will be put in the movie. Because hey, he cannot just suddenly say Naruto loves her already in 699. Because hey, he still hasn't address his issue with Sakura. Because hey, he probably forgotten all the drama about the Poal and confession bs the MC had to 'resolve' first before he moves to another woman.  So that kind of 2-3 years gap is needed to supposedly 'develop' those two. It seemed to me he was deciding to whom should he give Sakura. To the MC or to his fave, despite the development in the manga. Thus to make everyone happeee happeee, boom.

I'll admit I'm glad he apologized but seriously, in one chapter? one page? and in the ending? It's like, I hope you excuse me for all the times attempting to murder you but actually, I like you but my hatred for Itachi, then Konoha overcame i hope you understand.

Even without the spoilers for 700, the mere fact that Sasuke apologized to her and she received it well is equal to NH happening as well. 

Because SS happening is NH happening, they say.

 

5 years ago, I was a SS shipper. THIS was the kind of ending I had wanted. I should be happy, no? For my childhood fantasy came true. But NO. It is bs. I'm sorry I had to rant. And Sakura is like my favorite character of all time. I really, really look up to her. I will not hate her tho. I've spent years defending and idolizing her but now I'm just incredibly disappointed on how she has been handled...

 

Rushed as hell. So rushed. No wonder the kaguya/madara one is so like they've just thrown in for the lulz... (I'm sorry im so disappointed in that one)

Like, who cares about development. What changing feelings? What 'not giving up'? WHAT everything?
