I don't know if I'm tempted to closed the thread for the moment. Because majority of you need to calm the f--- down.  And its getting ridiculous to the point I'm putting my foot down right now.

 

As for this chapter, grammar and bias strikes again. When the raws comes out, maybe I can say my views for the chapter. But for now, all I can say maybe this is Kishimoto's way to give Sakura some sort of a reality check.

rocci. if the  row came and the manga stream version were right  (SS AND NS ) dead. . is there any way for NS to be canon in a good way or  it will be an open ending?
 

That doesn't change the oneside love triangle. And it will not kill NS at all.
Naruto confession.
Depend on whether or not naruto confession will happen or not.
If no naruto confession, that mean status quo win aka open ending.

Sakura has high resistance because she's smart people.

If MS version turns out to be true, I really hope so. 

I've made a theory a while ago that the pairing issues will be resolved in IT. 

Turned out not to be the case. 

But maybe Sakura will finally reflect on her feelings in the Genjutsu she's trapped in at the moment? 

And maybe she'll break out of it when she resolved the "Sasuke Issue" for herself? 

 

I really hope so ...

You're not alone. I detest the emotional and verbal abuse that Sakura has had to endure from Sasuke all this time. That kind of treatment is just par for the course with Sasuke though. He's never allowed himself to become emotionally fettered by anyone. Anything that he wants is fair game and the consequences it leaves on others doesn't cross his mind. They're sacrificable extensions to his journey that will be severed if he feels it necessary or if they become too burdensome to continue holding.

Sakura's actions this chapter may not have been portrayed in the most agreeable light, but all of us should have realised that her emotional hesitations would surface sooner or later. It damages her character no more than Ino's superficial reasons for "loving" Sasuke after all this time. Truthfully, I would argue that Ino's twisted notions of a positive love and her unprofessional behaviour when Sasuke first arrived paint her in a worst light than Sakura's grief over her inability to do anything to reform him. 

That keeps me wondering where the heck does Kishi have his inspiration in writing this. She doesn't know what female would feel if they are verbually abuse by a person they cared about. Are they having a lover's quarrel with his wife that he decided to write this.. this.. argh.

 

I seriously like Sakura but I just sometimes hate why Kishi should make her look like a damsel in distress again. It's like the girls are only there for romance purposes and nothing more. Girls are emotional but they should not be treated like crap. What would even the viewers think? That girls only wants only love there, love that, love, love, love..

 

P.S. sorry about my rant. I just hate how the girls are treated. I'm girl so I know.

So many people freaking out over the chapter.  You'd think SS fans would be the ones depressed.  Then again they are used to the negativity while the moment something can be interpreted negatively for our favorite pairing we kitten bricks because we aren't used to it. 

As for the chapter itself there were definitely some positives for NS.  The fact Naruto still holds that promise is pretty big when you consider he told Sai he couldn't confess because he couldn't keep his promise and the author is simply not going to have his MC be rejected with a chapter or two to go.

As far as the chapter itself, I have mixed feelings about the whole Sakura situation and it's quite hard to comment on it without knowing the proper translation.  Then again i'd be surprised if MS was the correct one.  One such reason is chapter 675, the exact same thing happened with the tenses and MS is known for taking huge liberties with their translations in order to add flare to it. 

As for the SS pairing, I have a really hard time thinking it's not officially dead.  As an author if you intend to make a pairing canon, it's simply not going to be one where you're just adding nothing but negative after negative elements to it without some positives and now we're at the mangas' end.  Not only are the negatives numerous but they are horrid (as bad as it gets), the murder attempts, the genjutsu where Sakura now gets stabbed but not only that you get the authors own self awareness being displayed when he has Sasuke states that it basically makes no sense for her to like him.  Not only that but then the author is going out of his way to basically illustrate the negative consequences the pairing is having on Sakura.  So not only is the pairing full of negatives but the author himself is going out of his way to basically say it's kitten.

So it's ok if you point and laugh at her crying when there are pictures of her not crying accompanying it? If you point at someone and laugh at them in public, is that not considered harassment? I like how you ended your statements again with another personal attack instead of substance.

 

 

 

 Clashing and explosions, and how is that achieved exactly? From powerful jutsu through gaining power-ups. Who has made it clear that she wants to catch up to both Naruto and Sasuke? Sakura. Who has made that a convenient little story line for her character? Kishi. What's another reason why she won't contribute in the fight? Because she's not strong enough. Who's to blame? Kishi. She's become a third wheel.

 

Except powerups are not the only thing that is required for reaching out to Sasuke.

 

Guess what Sasuke and Naruto talked about in their little white bubble? Their mutual loneliness and how the bonded over rivalry! Do you honestly thing Sakura can talk about her and Sasuke's bond like that at all? The only thing she ended up saying was "why don't you ever talk to me"? If anything, her flight proves his point that he doesn't have a connection to her at all.

 

Why do you think Edo Itachi spent so much time emphasizing that only Naruto could change Sasuke?  It doesn't matter if Sakura had more power than both of them combined; in the end it is Sasuke's mind that's damaged. In fact, it doesn't matter if Naruto can physically overpower Sasuke or not, because the manga has again and again hammered in that the key to saving the world is by understanding your enemies.

But both examples are reasonable.

 

No, Sakura's strength is not measured by how she has managed to physically beat up Sasuke/ change his heart. Kakashi said it again several chapters ago; Sakura couldn't bring herself to hurt someone she considered a friend because of her kindness.

 

Trust me, there will be no one happier than me if Sakura had a bigger role in this story. But asking her to be in the middle of the Sasuke/ Naruto fight is like asking Kakashi to be in there as well.

probably. I still think that Kishimoto uses to drink too much with sake...I doubt that Sakura will be uncoscious for all the time until the battle NS will be ended at shuumatsu no tani... I hope that Kakashi will dispel her genjutsu...
