I haven't read this chapter yet. But by the looks of it, it was most probably a boring chapter. 

 

I don't know if I find these recent chapters boring because of the lack of Sakura appearance or Kishi's sloppy writing. 

I'll just come back when Sakura-chan is back.

If you totally skip this chapter, chances are you won't have missed much of anything important. To me it's pretty much just filler.

I think the next chapter will have a mix of both talking and action. Talking will be from Sakura dealing with Shikamaru and maybe Kages. Action will be from Naruto and Sasuke and maybe Edo Kages and Madara and Obito. I can be wrong.

Actually is nothing like that, if the genjutsu is cast everything will be turn into nothing, including his memory of itachi, it's like their sacrifices and everything Sasuke went though would be nothing, it was nothing to do with Itachi loving the world or not since he wants to destroy konoha and kill Naruto.

 

Well it was Itachi's influence that helped him decided to join the alliance, but the point of my post is that Sasuke has no motivation to go against the alliance at least until the battle is over.

You know, it's funny to mention that the parallel consists one unique clan member with a normal person. Not to say the normal one is weak, but doesn't have a background of a strong clan.

Naruto and Tsunade are not unique among their clans

 

For Naruto the only "unique" thing about him is the color of his hair, but he isn't the only Uzumaki that doesn't have Red Hair, remember Tsunade is also Uzumaki and she has blonde hair too, and the reason that both of them do not have red hair is because they are not full blooded Uzumakis, Naruto is only one half Uzumaki and Tsunade only one quarter.

 

And for Tsunade she doesn't have the massive chakra supply of the Uzumaki clan and for the Senju Clan the only uniqueness within it would be Wood Release which only Hashirama is known to have.

It would be a great plot twist, and it would be very interesting what she'll do and who can stand her fight... But, don't think it can happen. Plot of the manga doesn't demand it.

One aspect I love about her would be gone, also what makes her different from Naruto and Sasuke. What's great about her is that all her abilities are earned from effort, she's like a female Rock Lee. If she eats the fruit it wouldn't be the same.

Kishi had many opportunities to draw parallels, but he didn't. I guess it's because the flashbacks were about Madara and Hashirama solely, but I didn't like how Mito wasn't even present.

 

And..don't be so picky. ObiRin, JiraTsu and MinaKushi are correct. What a coincidence, I never noticed. XD

 

(and the point about HashiMito in the first place was their clans anyway.)

HashiMito is already a parallel to NS, but it's not said or canonized in the manga. Just the reader's view on both pair will be clear that they are similar.

I don't think if there will be a fruit to be eaten, the one to do it will be Sakura. Madara, and arguably Obito, have much more knowledge about the Juubi/tree secrets thanks to the Uchiha Stone Monument. 

If the tree really comes to sprout a fruit, Madara probably would already know about it and would be the first one to jump in for it.

Thank you for noticing it. I just thought of it now. That said never say never on Hashirama and Mito. Kishi can always pull a fast one when you least expected. I bet everyone laugh themselves to think Minato would draw a parallel but here we are. Time is still going.

Something tells me we will find out more. Just not now. Not sure on parents, but it's possible. Funny how we don't know about father So6P, but not everyone needs an attention.
