For me that wasn't even a SS moment... She just said "Sasuke-kun..." because he was the first who reached her. If Naruto was arrived at her side before Sasuke, Sakura could have just said his name instead of that's Sasuke.

And she looks happy because Sasuke is near to those two, by procedting each other, just like at their old times. This chapter has no parings interaction, it was just the team 7.

 

No need to be a little bothered about that...

Considering that Kishi seems to have more plans for Sasuke than he's letting on if Juugo's comment is anything to go by, this could very well be the opportunity for Sakura to have the closure she desires with her romantic feelings for Sasuke.

 

Kishi could make Sakura finally come to a closure about it with now the option of a good Sasuke around. And after she finally lets go of her feelings that will be the chance for Sasuke to reveal the intent that he's hiding, which I think might put him again in the opposite side of the equation. But since Sakura already had her resolution with him then she can stand with Naruto 100% without anyone claiming that Naruto is only her second choice.

This. I can't really figure out how she's gonna relinquish her feelings though but I'm sure it'll likely be before the big battle happens with Naruto and Sasuke. I think Naruto may very well do something to help the transition but again, I don't know what that is.  

 

I do see closure coming for SS very soon. i'm happy with the way she's handling herself with Sasuke as of late, and it shows her growth. She's been proving herself through and through these past chapters.  

 

Also, as for the bolded, while i most definitely agree with you there, someone's gonna always call him the second choice even though that's not the case, and what's even more hilarious is how this doesn't apply to a certain female...  LOL

That does make sense. Hm, well I guess it's a best timing because I realized that they are near to the main body of Juubi and well, anything can happen. I don't know what but something can happen. The Sasuke's part is bothering me and it's start to make sense of this whole thing, especially how Sasuke was the last one to come in, which is like saying Sasuke planned something before entering battlefield, hence no Orochimaru and others. Damn him...

 

Let's be honest people. Nobody here is really worried about SasuSaku.

 

What we are all worried about is another wave of haters complaining once again about Sakura "fangirling" over Sasuke. This wasn't even close to fangirling. Karin was fangirling, all Sakura did was say "Sasuke-Kun".

 

Face it, they're all just too used to hating Sakura and we're just too used to defending her. Calm down and enjoy the awesomeness that was this chapter.

That's me with no one worried about SasuSaku. I already explained enough, so I'm just drinking tea as I enjoy the manga.

I actually thought about the next Naruto game. My cousin and I were discussing Sakura's worthy of having a "Hyakugou" standalone version or not. Like Naruto has Sage Mode and such? What do you guys think?

One good review on youtube so far and it was a sakura hater who praised her. And also he didn't even mentioned the "sasuke kun" issue so it looks like that our own crew members trying to sink ship.

Holy hell that was an awesome chapter! I am so glad that Sakura is getting her chance to shine!

Think the 3 years of chakra saving was a bit of an asspull to explain why she didn't step in sooner, but then again maybe Kishi wanted to make a point of how long a person with normal reserves would have to save up to get on Naruto and Sasuke's level.

As for the blush, yeah I think it is one. HOWEVER it is a lot different than her part 1 fangirling. She is giddy that that she is being acknowledged by someone that she admired for being strong. (He is acknowledging her by not objecting to fight beside her. He would have called her a nuisance if he thought she was out of her league. )

SS needs to be addressed before NS can be canon, so hold onto your pants everyone. We are finally starting the road to unravel Sakura's feelings.

(The color page makes me wish I planned to cosplay Sakura this weekend lol.)

Wow, so awesome! Exactly what we've been waiting for for years now! Lots of shipping stuff flying, NaruSaku for sure, but definitely SS and some KibaHIna too! No worries. As Greed said in the first couple pages of this thread, Sakura's been acknowlegded by Sasuke for her strength. That's resolved. There may be some more SS waves in the future, but that connection to him in her development can be checked off the list. 

 

Also...where were Kiba's cheek triangles in that panel?? lol

To me, I think this whole moment is like going back to the old days, which is nice. That said I feel like Kishi did this now because this could be our last time seeing them together, since the next moment with Sasuke suggests that we may see something not good.

The bolded for sure. It's such an awesome thing to see her teammates are right there next to her, but they're not protecting her. They're assisting her and she's doing the same.

The bragging rights, man, the bragging rights. People are just craving for them.

 

After what happened in 631 I don't know why Kishi would make Sakura end with Sasuke. It wasn't just a comedy moment considering that this was foreshadowed by Kushina in the flashback.

 

Kishi makes Kushina want Naruto to have someone like Sakura, it's further reinforced with Minato and he even gives his blessing. But then it's all, nope just kidding she's actually ending with another guy lololololol, Sounds pretty stupid.

I said the same thing, but he feels as though it would be overkill. LMAO! I hope they change her character stats all together to match her capabilities right now. She's obviously stronger, faster, and all that jazz, so they should definitely change her moveset a bit and give her a new special.
