I never would have thought though that she would develop so much. When I started AoT, I thought we have this small, innocent cutie girl that is like a goddess to the characters in the manga. Lol, I should have known how important she'd become when it turned out that she was the heir to the kingdom.

I'm damn sure it'll get incredibly emotional when that happens. Her death will be an emotional booster for Kaneki and make him go completely berserk. But I hope that Kaneki vs Arima fight will still happen.

 

Same and I can't believe I said this when I started watching the show, but my intial thoughts on Historia when shestill went by Krista as okay so she's gonna be kinda like the Hinata of the group.  Man I feel insulted for even saying something like that now, but then again I had absolutely no idea that Historia would become  such a top-tear character later on in the series. I should've figured this out the moment we discovered she was royalty type. 

 

 

This scene still cracks me up when Historia comes in with Jean's Horse and worried about everyone: 

 

Armin: She's an Angel 

 

Jean: She's a Godess

 

Reiner: One day my wife

It feels kind of odd now, but with the death of Naruto and the rise of Nardo, Attack on Titan is the only manga I still read. Unless of course Black Lagoon ever comes back, which I doubt it will. lol

Unfortunately the anime doesn't come out until 2016. Yay.

Sad but true. There is a large "gulf", for the lack of a better term, in the entertainment industry for me when it comes to Japanese manga right now. Which is a bit surprising since a mere ten years ago I enjoyed so many stories coming out from the industry.

 

Still it's nice to see that at least Attack on Titan is doing something still, at least there is still some real human emotions there. Even if it is a post apocalyptic dark world, the human spirit still shines threw in the story.

There are people who deem AoT unoriginal and overloaded with stereotypical characters. True, it might not be very original from its concept, but Isayame is doing a good job with the story telling. The anime wouldn't have been as good as it is of it weren't for the plot line. What kind of animes and mangas do you like? I'm sure there are still series out there you'd still like if you kept searching.

I think he managed to do well with the uprising arc, having all those political schemes and world building made the story a lot more complex, and there still a lot of mysteries left.

The characters ( some of them) might look like stereotypical but in a story in which the plot is story/event-driven this is bound to happen
