It is really funny to me to read all the despair here and it strikes me as the opposite of a One Piece forum I go too from time to time...

In my opinion Oda has written absolute drek since the time skip, to me it is ike he is mailing it in...

but at the forum it is like anything Oda writes is a gift from on high

contrarily I have actually been enjoying Naruto in the same time period and everywhere I go people write how bad Kishimoto is a writing.

That is funny actually because I'm the opposite Whenever there is a bad Naruto chapter, I think to myself "At least I have OP.."

I didn't quite enjoy Fishman island as much as the other arcs though, but the Punk hazard and the current Dressrosa arc is pretty interesting. : D

That's actually been Sasuke's thing from the start. See how easily he became Orochimaru's bitc- I mean, "apprentice," to becoming Tobi's bitc-, I mean "subordinate" then he switched back to Orochimaru, now he's with the Zomkages.

Seriously, all you need to do is feed Sasuke some story and toss in Uchiha and Itachi a number of times and he's on you like Bieber fans on Justin Bieber.

It's funny because it's so true.

I know this isn't the place to discuss One Piece but to me nothing interesting is happening and the quality of Oda's previous writing had me buy all 66 volumes produced in English by Viz these days it is touch and go whether I will even buy anymore I bought volume 66 and didn't even read it the day I bought it.

I actually have a strong feeling that next chapter might be of Sakura and Sai with the present kages. After all, all the kages of this era (except Tsunade who will die) needs to be on the battlefield now.

So Sasuke is suddenly good? No, no, this is a lie. There has to be something different. Something Sasuke is hiding. He just can't change that quickly. You mean after all Naruto has done, he has made no impact on Sasuke's life, but the first comes along, tells a story, and all of a sudden he wants to fight in the war against Madara? No, no, something ain't right. I am withholding my judgement. Although I have to say this is by far the most...left field thing that has happened in this manga to date.

If this really is true and Kishi has truly made Sasuke a good guy now...congrats Kishi, you have just blown up every single character in the entire series past the point of no return. No, seriously, what happened? 615 comes and we have Naruto OOC, Sakura OOC, most of the Konoha 11 OOC, (with the one exception being Neji) now this? What next? Turns out Ten-Ten is the main character this whole time?

Okay, okay, okay, calm down. This is all part of the plan. Somewhere along the lines Sasuke is going to say "Just kidding" or something.

Wow, I am actually completely and totally stunned. I don't know if Kishi has some great plan ahead or he is just bowing down to the fans now.

BTW, I called it. I KNEW Minato would end up seeing his son again. As for the present, if it is the other half of the nine-tails chakra, then I will flip even more for being right twice.



BTW, Totally a SasuKari moment...so now I say SS is dead. I don't like the fact that Karin just all of a sudden forgives Sasuke for stabbing her though. That's kind of...weird.

Even if Sasuke has changed his resolve, he will still remain a psychotic person. His mind is not healthy..it needs to be fixed with more than a Hashirama TNJ. I hope Sasuke just doesn't want to be in the Tsukyomi, and when it's over, he goes over to his own plan. Naruto may have a role in it, he's like a ninja therapist. Lets hope we still have one reason to not to switch the name of the series. : )

It's truly hard to say if Sasuke is 100% good. I would say he's a tweener for now. Doing the good, but not sold on the idea. You can say this is like Itachi's closure for having the effect on Sasuke. The rest, well, if what I said is correct, then it's all on Naruto. Other than that, it's hard to say. Right now, I see it as put it aside for now as they need to stop Madara. Anything can happen. Let's hope not more wtf though.

Yeah, I am mixed about SK moment. On one hand, I would like to say "Told you so" on her feelings. Meaning well, because of that and if Sakura choose to go to him, there will be no pairing for her since everything will go back to chapter 3 with an addition of Karin. On the other hand, well it was rushed. Granted I like the grudge she took on, though wrong guy. I just wish the manga world limitation didn't exist and that's what bothers me for all manga. I wish it's like free-for-all or at least the way the novel works. Oh well, nothing I can do.

I just LOVE how people assume that people are supposedly mad or jumping ship because of kitten that has nothing to do with why some folks ARE mad. I was pissed because of how fast Kishimoto made Sasuke decide to supposedly help Konoha after a little history lesson. I was mad at how sexist Kishi was being with the return of Karin hugging all up on Sasuke like nothing happened. Disgusting is the word that describes that crap. Did I say I was gonna drop the manga here?? NO. I said that if SAKURA gets some BS development REVOLVING around Sasuke, or she only becomes relevant with Sasuke's arrival, then I'll LIKELY be done with this because it's at this point kittening pathetic. I think it was Sushi who brought something up about understanding why people question Sakura as a heroine, and as a character. I can actually understand why some would call her pathetic. I love her at this point mainly because of her personality.

Hopefully Kishi doesn't kitten her over because for too long, she's been treated like pairing fodder, and it's ridiculous. Now we have to wait a week for what? He's probably not even gonna go back to the battle. I hope he does though.

Pretty much this and if not, no pairing. Sasuke can't take all of them...can he?

The only thing I'm bothered is what's next after they settled with Madara. I mean after that, no more? There's more to it and/or we are not reading Sasuke right. I feel like it's the same back when he is joined with Itachi, where people thought he became good, only to confirm that he still hates the village and all other. Right now, he don't want Itachi and the purpose behind it to go in vain. Vague on his turn.

Certainly. People assumed that he is officially permanently good now. No Naruto required, which means many purpose behind him is wasted with a blink of an eye. That's the main issue which I'm not part of it yet. The only issue I have is the last 5 pages because well, it happened too quick. But due to limitations, I guess that's what happens. What is your take on it?

Most ppl are pissed off at Kishi for pulling what they consider an ass-pull move by building up Sasuke as being crazy evil and then making him good without Naruto being involved. Also the fact that Orochimaru is joining them and Karin just forgave Sasuke for stabbing her in the chest.

Personally, I don't think this really changes the pairings at all and defs doesn't affect NaruxSaku. Though I do think that Kishi did pull a real ass-pull move by redeeming Sasuke already and then Orochimaru in one chapter. There is probably going to be some sort of Twist.

I think it's too soon to say he's 100% good. More like put it aside your feelings/grudges and take care of another threat. That's how I feel. I'll say I will give one volume chance for me to see where is this truly going.

I don't think that Kishimoto just got tired of Manga and wants only to finsh it as soon as possible... god, it would be stupid since he himself admitted in the interview for promoting RTN in last summer that he thought to finish the manga within one and half year but it need more time... I can't seem to comprehend why such a great number of you NS fans are suddenly abandoning your beloved pairing because of an unrelated chapter such as this. Sakura regressing back into her fangirl state and going over to Sasuke? What happened to all your confidence that Sakura was starting to develop away from Sasuke? She and Karin are two distinct characters with different sets of personalities and development. Karin still fawning over Sasuke (as most expected) does not in any way correlate with Sakura not eventually getting over her idealistic love for him.

I expected more from this fanbase, and frankly this is simply pathetic.

I agree though, even if I post too long thread about this whole chapter today, (never 2 without 3 ) I must agree. I was piss cuz of the story losing some consistency. People sayin Narusaku is dead or Sasuke save Sakura life because of this chapter went overboard a little . Inconsistency can work the other way around like Narusaku rush in the next chapter and become canon. Right now I'm listening very close to Kakashi sensei(expect the unexpected). But Plz for those people who think Narusaku dead and Sakura goes in a 12 years oldself like Karin( 2nd post I send, to his defense, we were seeing her in the interogation room already acting I LOVE/HATE him like) Sakura when she thought about Sasuke during thewar was a more realistic approach
