LOL. Let's see how we fare with an entirely new set of Pokemon that neither of us have heard of. There's apparently a new type being introduced as well, so this shall be interesting. laugh.gif

Oh yeah! I forgot about Brawl. Andy hasn't been playing it lately. He goes through different phases with his games. LOL. I'll have to remind him of that battle and get everything set up for it! Finals are done in two weeks, so we'll definitely have the time for it soon! happy.gif

Suuuuure~ That's what you always say. I know better though! wink.gif

Me too! This is going to be a fun time.

Which version are you playing? is it white or black 2? happy.gif

Just watched a movie called "Wolf Children". One of the most amazing anime movies I've ever seen to be honest. Top 3 for me! I think you should give it a look Slextrem. I think you'd love it. I wish Naruto could make a movie with animation as breathtaking as this...

Rikakim, I don't have Black 2 or White 2. I haven't even played the first ones, to be honest. LOL. I'm not a fan of Gen 5, so I don't know if I want to purchase either of those games. Right now, I'm playing Heart Gold and Fire Red. happy.gif

Did you know that the person who directed that movie was the same person who made the digimon movie (the first one) and the series.

You'll likely like the movie then. It's really amazing. It's about a woman who has two wolf children after mating with a wolfman.

Thanks! I hope things are going well with you too, Oust! biggrin.gif Sakura looked like crap this chapter. That blast must have given her a lazy eye or something, cause she's looking off in two different directions at the same time. LOL. This chapter really showed just how lazy Kishimoto has gotten with this series:

1) His artwork was awful. Case and point, Sakura's panel.
2) Apparently, the Alliance now consists of 14 people. (Bottom panel: http://www.mangahere...3/c629/10.html)
3) Chouji and Hinata are the only Rookies important enough for screen time.
4) Obito already knew everything that happened to Rin, so Kakashi doesn't have to explain it to him...

It feels like Kishimoto is just going through the motions, or cutting corners, with this story in order to get to the finish line. I couldn't even enjoy the NaruSaku moment because of how badly this chapter was done. It had potential to be a great chapter, but the way Kishimoto executed it was terrible. If he was too lazy to draw the entire Alliance, why not have all of the Rookies jump in front of Naruto? That would go hand-in-hand with the, "Rely on your friends", theme that's been going on for the past two years - but no.

Instead, we'll have Chouji point out the obvious for one panel, shrink the Alliance to a group of 14 fodder-nin, have only Hinata and Sakura jump in to help Naruto, (which I actually really liked - but where is everyone else?), and make a bunch of fodder-nin all inspired to help save the day. Cool...

Then to top it all off, he made Obito aware of everything that happened to Rin to avoid having Kakashi explain it. LOL. It's just... The laziness of it all is too much for me to handle. I think I might be falling out of love with this series. I haven't been inspired to read it since Obito's flashbacks. Since then, it's just been a downer. I'm actually finding Bleach more interesting than Naruto, which is sad...

I might be falling out of love with pairings too. I'm just not as happy as I used to be looking at Naruto and Sakura together, not because I think they would be a bad couple, but because the quality of the series has plummeted. The plot, and the way Kishimoto is executing the plot, have gotten so bad that the only thing I care about is praying that he won't screw up anything else. Like this week, for example. Yeah, Sakura healing Naruto was nice, but I couldn't enjoy it because Kishimoto botched Sakura's face. And sure, he's finally letting Hinata act as a leader, but she's not even directing characters that are relevant to the story. Just fodder characters... *sigh* I just want Kishimoto to treat this series seriously until the end. Until that happens, I give up on pairings. mellow.gif

The reason why I didn't post any of this is to avoid making people upset in the Chapter thread. I'm sure there were a bunch of people that really enjoyed it, and I don't want to dampen their enjoyment of the chapter with my mean and nasty thoughts. LOL.

What did you think? laugh.gif

Haha, well then we can simply have our discussion here. I thought that chapter was alright, but I was thrown off looking at that ugly panel of Sakura. I didn't like it, and you know how critical I am when it comes to drawings so with that said, he did a piss poor job drawing our girl.

I also wondered why Hinata was the only one standing in front of Naruto out of the rookies, and what I'm thinking now is that Kishi feels she's more important than the other sides characters. I too felt it would of been PERFECT if the rookies jumped in front of him, and we heard some dialogue from them at least. I would of absolutely loved it then, but he gives us just Hinata and some lame ass fodder nin. And apparently, she's out of nowhere gained leadership skills. I can't even! LOL

I'm starting to feel like you when it comes to the series, and I'm actually enjoying Masaki's story more than what's going on with Naruto as well. Kishi's writing has taken a hit to the gut, and who knows if it'll recover. I'm starting to not even care what happens between Naruto and Sakura given how long it's been since anything of true significance has happened between them. I'm even starting not to look forward to anything with Sakura at this point. She's just a healer it seems and apparently Kishi may feel that that's where she belongs. She could of gotten trained by a regular medic nin instead of Tsunade then if Kishi feels the need to not develop her further... Bleh, this whole series is just not what it used to be.

This just this ^

The funny thing is i wanted to have a video discussion about how far naruto has dropped in quality lately, but i guess you summarized it well. sleep.gif

I lost interest in pairings to im not crazy about it as i used to , not only is the pairing an issue with the manga lately its also the lack of character consistency, artwork, throwing away important plot point, the whole character progressing regressing and to many things going on at once theres more, but for now i can only think of these major points.

I stopped reading the manga 2 chapters ago right after the plot did a 180. facepalm.png

Also from what i saw on tumblr i saw hinata calls everyone then fodder ninjas appear, but she was no where near naruto in that panel i saw on tumblr. im confused huh.gif

About the sakura issue, I have to admit kishi is making a poor excuse to not make sakura fight even if shes a medic ninja she was able to handle a zetsu clone herself and fight aganist sasori with chiyo. which leads me the question why couldn't he make her team up with kakashi or someone to fight if she can't fight a really strong opponent herself? i guess kishi forgot about her whole character, same goes for naruto whose been making boring speeches and turned into fighting machine, his more than that....
