I need I need to add this to Nick's description of Heaven and Earth:
Earth symbolize strength of body while Heaven symbolize the strength of mind. in a sense they are the 2 aspect that are necessary for ninjas, a powerful technique and a brilliant mind. As Iruka said: If you have power but not a bright mind, go and study while if you have the Intelligence but not physical strength, go and train your body.
How does that fit with Naruto and Sakura? its simple. Naruto is practically the epitome of earth with his endless stamina but he's definitely not bright person when it comes to intelligence. while Sakura have an incredible mind but she lacks the stamina and power. in another word, they need each other to cover for their weakness and turn it into strength.
That's more of a description of their strengths as shinobi not how they match up personality-wise.
I'm not sure that I'd call intelligence a weakness of Naruto's or stamina/power a weakness of Sakura's. It isn't their strength, but they're both well above average (or heading that way). Book learning still fits as a weakness of Naruto's.
It's a valid point, but I
think that it's a point about why they are good teammates, not good romantic partners. But that's just my opinion. My opinion isn't always right. :what: That's why I was asking you for other insights.
