I'd also like to see what Eiji (Saitou's adopted son) has been doing since we haven't seen him since the Kyoto arc. Given that he likely trained under Saitou, he's probably just as much of a beast as Yahiko and Taro; heck, maybe we might finally see what Tokio looks like. I hope that Soujiro will make an appearance as well since this arc does revolve around dissidents from Shishio's army.

Yes AND YES, I actually want to see Saito's wife, and how Eiji is doing truth be told. I think it'd be hilarious to see how Saito acts as a surrogate father

I'm............... not even bothering with that plot point because honestly that part is meaningless now because we all know Kenshin WILL FIGHT, so I'm not even interested in the whole his body won't be able to effectively use Hiten-Mitsurugi techniques anymore. I am more interested in more Taro X Asahi moments because I honestly See Shishio and Yumi in them
