Not in this life time or any other that I will have, so no I will never read from this damn writer who can't do a story.

Will you give kishi's upcoming sci fi manga a chance?

NOPE. After reading the disaster that was Naruto and everything else that came with it afterwards. I think it would be a huge mistake to give Kishi another chance. Reading anything he writes would be like a dog returning to its vomit.

No. I made the mistake once of trusting him.

I`m curious how many people who say they wont read it now will still end up reading at least a chapter when it comes out. A lot of us said we wouldn't read Gaiden a year back and guess how many of us ended up reading it

I`m guessing he will recycle character traits and storylines from Naruto and give it to the characters and plot for his new manga.
We already know he has no originallity

(First post ever)
I might say "no" today, but I think somewhere down the line I'll end up checking his new series out online or something.

Well, since majority of you said no kishi REALLY messed up his career as a manga author. If he's still aiming for a hit like naruto thats not gonna happen anytime soon.

He probably wouldnt be able to create a hit like Naruto even if the ending wasnt so divisive.

The most I'm likely to do is peek at what other people say about it, but the chance of me reading it myself is negative. Just... no. I gave Kishimoto a lot of chances, in spite of obvious, glaring red flags that I should've cut ties with Naruto long before the ending. I'm not making that mistake again.

The reason Naruto became such an international hit was toonami on prime time for children to watch. Now since we have toonami is at late night that's not going to happen. Also since the ending basically destroyed kishi reputation he has built over fifteen years. The only people in Japan he apparently has left are the otaku and the yaoi fangirls. So basically kishi going to be starting over with a negative rep.

Well duh, There's no Yahagi to drive the story to be decent is there?

No, plain and simple. The closest I will probably come to doing anything with it is checking out whatever pops in here review wise. I personally wont take the time or energy to read it, so thank you to those of you who will take the time to do so. Youre brave and I appreciate you all ;D
