Nope. None of my cousins or siblings read Naruto either. In fact they consider liking anime/manga nerdy

My cousin used to be obsessed with Naruto and we used to play the PS2 ultimate ninja games constantly
I never brought up the pairing issue with him tho he always joked that Naruto was gay for Sasuke
He identified the series was heading to become pure crap after the Pein arc and stopped liking it, I believe that ultimately he was a neutral regarding the pairing situation
My parents know of Naruto's existency but they never had an interest in it
Persona 5 hype

Sibling? I talk with the ending with my sister, though she wishes I didn't. As for her own thought on the series by the time hinata finally did her big confession by 2008 (i recall this..mostly). She wasn't over joyed or impressed to hear about the confession and was just annoyed it took hinata that long to confess to Naruto. As far as i recall since she doesn't talk about Naruto anymore and only tolerate me talking about it. she like most of us figured that it was part of Hinata's arc that she would at some point confess to Naruto whether she ended up with him or not didn't matter.
She has a friend that believes Naruto and hinata would end up together but the last time they saw anything Naruto related was that confession and he believe that hinata deserved him solely for that action. I also like to point out just so you understand that guy. That in one piece he believed -the last time i talk to him- that luffy would kill doflimingo. Yes. He still believe after both my sister and myself both told him that oda stated that luffy would never kill. He kept believing that till at least the end of the arc. Haven't talk to him in a while he may still believe it. So i don't trust his opinion on story because he is actually a huge fan of one piece to point he never stop praising it. So if he can completely misunderstand a story/character he actually loves? How can you trust anything he says about a story he hasn't seen in years?

Bruh my parents don't even know what cartoons are let alone anime. Old school Bollywood is where it's at for them lmao.
My older cousins on the other hand loved Naruto. None of them were shippers of any kind and didn't care who ended up with who (thank god), but were more interested in the storyline and talked/argued about it's plot holes and individual characters. Generally, they disliked the ending/pairings and had fun roasting that and the kids lol. One of them positively adored Hinata, but was very disappointed that she ended up with Naruto, even though she predicted it. Not sure if anyone loved NS besides myself though.
Most of them don't follow the new series, and those who did found it kinda boring a dropped it. But they didn't make a serious deal out of it in the end. They made me feel a lot better about the whole thing actually :^)

I wouldn't say they ship NaruSaku, but my dad caught me watching Naruto twice one was during The Tenchi Bridge and the other was during hug scene after the Pain fight.
I remember his exact words during Tenchi Bridge:
"I'm guessing that's his girlfriend, right?"
and I was like it's hinting it.
to his response, "It only makes sense."
Then comes the Hug Sakura gave to Naruto and by that point I explained their relationship to my father cause he was kinda curious, and his response was:
"Ab pyaar hua."
Which to translate means Now love is here, and that brightened up my day.
Btw even though he didn't read the series or watch the anime he did ask me if they ever got together, and I said no while explaining why it wasn't the case, and he said,
That is so stupid.
Which I gave him a high five for agreeing

Omg!! With Shahrukh Khan, who wouldn't?! Been hearing good ratings about it too
(They're still stuck in the 70s & 80s head over heels with Amitabh Bachchan's old movies and Lata Mangeshkar's songs and classics ;u; it drives me crazy sometimes, but they're so good...)

My mother used to watch Naruto off and on with my brothers and I, but she asked us a few times if Sakura ever got over Sasuke and had confessed her feelings to Naruto. I remember she was mildly disappointed when I told her about the manga ending regarding the pairings, and she commented how she couldn't understand how someone as timid as Hinata could possibly attract Naruto's attention. Of course, that was nothing compared to her reaction when I told her that Sasuke married Sakura, with her blatantly stating "But that makes no sense! Doesn't he hate her?"

Light and Shadow are the only static creations of this universe.

This is such an interesting thread, because it's basically like "Ask someone who's been married/older/understands love what they're impression of NS is after casually watching the show or at least a few scenes."
The answer often is, 'so that's his girlfriend, right?'
That kind of honest response from casual watchers tells you a lot about what the animators were intending to portray. That even by the loosest of watching, NS is still right out there front-and-center

Dad: "How can you watch a show where you have to be reading subtitles all the time?"
Me: " Well, you kind of get used to it. There are also English dubs for them but I personally prefer the Japanese version."
Dad: "Weird...ok. "
Mom: "Why does she hit him all the time?"
Me: "It's a common character archetype that's often done in anime for comedy purposes. It's how she expresses her feelings but she's not *really* hitting him since he's just fine in the next shot.
Mom: "Oh I see." *walks away*
In case it isn't obvious, I can't even get my parents into anything anime let alone NS xD

I saw it a couple days ago.. kinda forgot to update you on that, but if you were curious, I found it to be a pretty funny movie. Like the plot itself is nothing too special in my opinion, but I was entertained and the chemistry between Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma was spot on.
Like if I had to give it a rating i'd probably say good+ which for me would be around like 7 to 7.5/10.
Can't believe I'm gonna bring Naruto into this, but Harry and Sejal's chemistry really genuine then the endgame canon pairings Naruto ever that
My mom's youngest brother and sister in law are the same way, and they are great to listen to, but when sometimes it can get pretty annoying.

No problem.. there is gonna be one scene that's gonna make you go like "are you serious?" but aside from that movie like I said is good. It's not a masterpiece by any means, but entertaining for sure.
Let me know what you think whenever you do get the chance to see it.
