The MCU films have been getting pretty stale. Age of Ultron seemed like it might take a more interesting turn and freshen things up a bit, but it failed pretty badly at that. If Civil War doesn't contribute anything new and just ends up falling into the same "haha we're so witty and funny aren't we?" Marvel foil that Age of Ultron did, then the MCU will have become irredeemably stale and uninteresting.

By stale you mean repetitive? Well, they need to do that since mcu is a long series of movies.
I think They would only freshen it up after the infinity war by rebooting the entire universe.
What is this new from civil war you expect to happen?

It looks like the Russo brothers are characterizing Black Widow like they did in TWS, so I have a little more faith in the movie. I really wanna see some good battle scenes and nice characterization, eecially after dealing with AOU and Naruto the past year.

It looks like the Russo brothers are characterizing Black Widow like they did in TWS, so I have a little more faith in the movie. I really wanna see some good battle scenes and nice characterization, eecially after dealing with AOU and Naruto the past year.

I watched the trailer and did they think people would by this plot device of Tony Stark getting bamboozled by the government a good idea? He doesn't seem the type of person to get bamboozled that easily, and wasn't; he the one saying, he wasn't going to be a government stooge like the Captian was in his films. Confused a bit.

It's best to wait for the actual movie to see how Iron Man and Captain America goes to war among each other. This one was to tell us what's to come: politics, friendship in turmoil, and the feels.
