I agree with the first sentence, but the second...she is at least a friend wouldn't you say? Hinata just needs to realize that it's never going to be romantic.

Well ...

 

That didn't last long. I've been waiting years for this fight and already it feels a little underwhelming. There isn't too much of a conflict ... you can tell by Sasuke's behavior he'll be redeemed fairly easily in either the next chapter or the one after. I really liked the fighting and all the detailed drawings, but I wish it could be little more longer than the time Kishi gave us.

 

And of course two pages wasted on the same old flashbacks we've seen a million times. Cute, but at the same time a little boring lol.

 

And I gotta be honest. I have nothing against SasuNaru---in fact, when it's at it's best, I consider it my brotp--but when I read Naruto's "my one and only best friend" line I felt like cringing. That's just spitting on people like Shikamaru and Gaara who have done so much more for him than Sasuke and appreciate him more than Sasuke ever has. One and only best friend? Wtf, Naruto.

 

Alright chapter. I just hope Sasuke isn't magically 'good' by this next talk-no-jutsu and fights Naruto a little more. I'd like to at least pretend there's still conflict going on.

Well that was good, but also well known and if this is all there is.
I mean we waited years for this event and well if this is it, kinda short.
Maybe the anime could expand it further?
Honestly I have no opinion this chapter, I mean the action is fine but if this is all there is, then technically the final battle is what we saw with kagyua plus this, in my opinion.

that's one thing the anime does right is the fight scenes!

Mangapanda twisted here... that sentence was a flashback of what Sasuke said to him at the vote part 1. And Naruto just yelled "LIKE THE HELL i WILL IGNORE THAT!"

This chapter was weird. Started out in an exciting all action/ no talk fight. But then started the flashback..4-5 pages at that.

It successfully downed any excitement the first 5 pages had managed to create.   

 

And then it came-- the panels I hate the most in this manga! Naruto for maybe the hundredth time in this manga forgetting Sakura, Sai and everyone who has always been there for him and instead calling Sasuke his ' best buddy '. along with his usual - "I won't leave you alone, I will save you...".

 

Same old same old    

 

On a positive note, the art was very good in this chapter.

You know she has pink hair, and she's considered part of Team Seven as well as your heroine, but you had to axe her so you could devote more bromance to Naruto and Sasuke. I was wondering why that sentence ended like that. Made no sense.

Since it's only the beginning of the fight, I can kind of forgive the occasional flashbacks. It's annoyting though that Kishi has to show them almost everytime Naruto and Sasuke meet. I do however find it slightly disappointing that we are already moving into TNJ territory this early in the fight. Then again, I don't really know what else I should expect. As long as the talks are interesting then I can live it.

 

Also, "shocking end"? What could that mean? I can't be Naruto will die, because of the new movie. It's the same with Sasuke so yeah. Perhaps it's just a generic blurb that I am reading way too much into.

Unfortunately that seems to be the case. Next chapter will be Naruto and Sasuke Part 3 and hopefully the last or at least have Sakura wake up dammit.

That's Kishi art alright. I remember him doing a similar one with Naruto/ Sakura / Sasuke.
