If Naruto has at least one bit of sense in him, he would understand that Sasuke needs to die. The cycle needs to end once and for all.
Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.
These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

But he doesn't, so. . . . .

It pains me to say this, but you're right.

In all honesty I think he does have understanding of what must be done, but Naruto is someone who tends to go against the impossible and deal with the problem like that, I for one wouldnt mind Sasuke being put down once and for all, he's a threat if he stays alive even if Naruto somehow stops him without killing him.
Or if we get an Avatar the Last Air Bender kinda move and Naruto makes it so he can't use any types of moves and be stuck with Taijutsu.

Do you think the Giant Turtle Bee and Naruto trained on could be it? xD

Yes. Understanding is important but what's more important is having the strength to take action based on what's been understood. And unfortunately, Naruto doesn't seem to have the mental strength to do what's right in this matter- Punish Sasuke for his crimes.

No because Naruto believes in the most powerful force in fiction: The power of Friendship. If only it worked the same in the real world.

Well He said he won't kill Sasuke, or allow himself to die at Sasuke's hand so....... Hard to say. Would killing Sasuke solve the problem? maybe but it would contradict the themes of the story plus unless Naruto destroys' Indra's chakra too it will just reincarnate

Friendship is such an overused topic xD
Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.
Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.
I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.

No he won't.
The whole point of this fued is for the brothers to find peace by working together, if Naruto kills Sasuke he would end up breaking his promise to Itachi and Hagoromo and the reincarnations will start all over again.
Also to add he would also end up breaking his promise to Sakura as well

Sakura already lifted her promise to him, Naruto said it was what he wanted this has nothing to do with her promise.
