"She's over Sasuke romantically but doesn't know it"
Really? because that's contradicted by the LOI arc where she's consciously saying she is getting over him because she chooses Naruto who she acknowledges as a better choice. What is the point of having her trying to consciously let go of someone romantically only to think she can't let go of her feelings no matter how hard she tries just so she could get rid of them unconsciously?
"She loves Naruto more but just doesn't know it yet"
Again we are way past the point of her having a magical epiphany moment especielly with all the NS hints we have in LOI. If Sasuke was the someone else she was referring to then that would make her confession a lie (something which is already contradicted by Kishi) and would make all the strong moments in LOI (him carrying her bridal style, her looking at him with a tender smile while he sleeps) pointlessly inert especially since we can confirm through both word of god and context of the scene and actual verbal proof that she is aware of her feelings.
"She was just saying there's a someone else as a nice way of turning him down"
This is the most unlikely because Kishi knows about all the NS vs. SS bs going down, if she really didn't have someone else in mind her would have had her let him down in a different way. I'm sorry but people are really stretching with this one.
"Sakura's feelings are unresolved at this point she clearly needed alot of time to sort them out"
She had a good 2+ weeks from Sasuke's murder attempt and her declaring she's over him until this scene where she refers to him as "the someone else" and yet is completely over him romantically the next day. And on top of that something as minor as him "not being a great guy" is kind of a minor push for her to finally make the leap over him when murder attempts and broken hearts and saying she's over him weren't enough to do it.
"It doesn't even matter it was several years ago"
In the real world yes, but this was just 1 day ago in the manga world and this is the closest thing we have to an insight on Sakura's real feelings. Hence why alot of people including me find it mind-numbingly frustrating. Besides the whole trope of the main female lead being asked out and then turning down *random fodder guy* because there was a someone else is as old as time itself and is always used for the main character which is left ambigious. Would seem like such a huge slap in the face to NS fans to give a moment like this to SS fans whose pair is dying off anyway, and throw away a potentially huge NS moment for the sole reason of showing that Sakura doesn't like show she feels/felt about Sasuke something we already knew for sometime now especielly with it being this late in the game. It would be a random "kitten you" moment to NS fans just for the sake of it being a red herring that contradicts and is contradicted by the plot just for him to continue to emphasize NS endgame further on.
