Pretty much what I expected this chapter to happen... Poor Sakura, being all scared. I can understand why she would be. I like how she just called him "Obito," like she already knows him lmao... I REALLY can't wait to see what happens between Naruto & Sakura next chapter. Seriously, it'll be hard to ignore Sakura when her hand is in his freaking chest so it'll be really silly if she's just brushed off imo.

What was Minato even trying to do?? And how did he get blocked? The panel of current Obito and Kakasho standing next to each other was nice, we'll see an edit of this one and the old one soon. Though I'm not sure how the Kamui thing worked...

More Team Minato flashbacks... Not surprised. "Beast-face" lmao. I think mangapand messed up, I think what Rin said was "I'll definitely protect both of them," maybe?

And the preview for next chapter!! I KNEW IT. Eight gates (right?)! I don't want Gai to die though. :(

Ummm but Naruto did have a reaction to her saying she loved him. And they really haven't had time to bring it up again, considering you know, the war and all. I don't think it'll be directly brought up again cause that's just not how these things work, but the resolution will be the two confessing to each other.

This is different though because her hand is LITERALLY in his chest. Are you telling me you don't think Naruto will even notice that?

I seen that people are speculating that Obito will give the pieces of Shukaku and Hachibi to B and Gaara. But imo he gave all of that to Naruto. So Naruto will now to posses some small amount of chakra from every bijuu leading him to become some version of Softsp. Naruto power is coming.

And Minato is really a beast. You cut his arms of. He uses his mouth to fight. :)

So this acquatic-like area is like the white abyss that Naruto is transported to whenever he mentally confronts someone? Odd. It's distinctive from the usual blank realms. There's a possibility it might be a metaphorical representation of the worldview which only the Jubi jinchuuriki are capable of seeing.

 

Was this Kishi's ploy to try and create a nostalgic scene with the old Team Minato fighting together? The feeling was there but it was cut short by Guy's untimely arrival. At least we caught a glimpse of Obito's fighting capabilities now. He seemed pretty competent parrying away Madara's Onmyoudon projectiles. Even without the full strength of the Jubi and in such a weakened condition he's still able to aptly prove himself. 

 

The part that was the most memorable were the panels depicting Sakura. She was so afraid of Madara that she forgot to breathe? This stands out because we haven't really seen a psychological element pertaining to fear from any important characters towards Madara. Intimidation? Yes. But not fear. The worst moment preceding this one was Mei trying to withdraw from the earlier fight against him. But that could be perceived as a practical discontinuation of fighting in order to save themselves from an enemy that is clearly beyond their level. 

  

I can understand her worry because Madara is very imposing with having the abilities of Rikudou and his reputation. "He's just...different." Is that a reference to his newly acquired jinchuuriki status? Or does Madara's character emanate with frightening power like that all the time? 

 

You know that with Guy appearing that his squad isn't going to be far behind. Lee and Tenten aren't that much older than Sakura and they're surely not in a position to be going up against Madara brimming with confidence. If Kishi doesn't hamper them with the same apprehension that Sakura has then I'll be disappointed.

 

Well the biggest development besides what's already been mentioned is Kishi revivifying the potential of a SakuRin parallel. Sakura only has Obito to talk with at the moment and she's doing everything she can to preserve Naruto. That sort of dedication and medical expertise would surely kindle a spark of memory about the former kunoichi who wanted to see how he would become strong and capable enough to save the world. Sakura and Rin do share that hopeful quality.

I was actually making a joke, but also trying to prove a point. I don't care if Naruto needed to leave as soon as the Summit Arc finish, when a longtime friend confess that they love you that warrants a conversation (even if she is lying). Yet it was never brought up again, and has gone mostly ignored. My point being is that Kishi has a habit of ignoring things that shouldn't being ignored, Sakura's confession being one of them. Even Hinata's confession and hand holding scene needed more panel time after the fact, yet those were also almost entirely ignored.

I wonder what will be the purpose of Sakura's presence when Naruto will awake. It would be a shame if she's just standing there, doing nothing, while everyone is fighting Madara. Except if she has to heal someone else, like Obito or Kakashi, I don't see any purpose, because knowing Kishi's habits concerning Sakura, I doubt he will make her fight Madara with the others.

If your thinking about this volume then we've been in the focus since chapter 662, and I believe next chapter (667) should wrap up this volume.

So Naruto has been save and it seems that B might be save and Gaara might become a Jinchuriki again, and Sasuke will undoubtedly be saved by the foot guy seems it may be a 4 on 1 fight soon, Although I wonder if Obito can or even if he will be able to save B or will that fall on to Naruto?

 

Anyway Can't wait for next week.

I doubt garra would become a jinchuriki again, maybe the shukaku will appear as a deformed version of himself.

They had a conversation right after she confessed. Naruto already knows what Sakura was really trying to do and her motivations so I can understand why it hasn't (and probably won't ever) been brought up again.

Naruto doesn't love Hinata so it makes sense why it wasn't brought up again. He acknowledged the fact that she jumped in there against Pein though, so I won't be surprised if that's all we get to it (though I also won't be surprised if we get more resolution, considering all the panel time Hinata has gotten). I don't know why the hand hold scene would need any more panels...?

I agree that Kishi has that habit, but please don't compare Sakura's confession to this because it is not the same.

Oh, and I'm not saying that Naruto and Sakura will have a whole conversation about her trying to save him. I'm just saying that I expect some kind of reaction, even if it's comedic (and I will definitely not be surprised if it is), like Naruto freaking out about having Sakura's hand in him.

This was quite a good chapter, though my attention is immediately drawn to the line for next week "Gai finally uses that forbidden technique" if that doesn't hint at the use of all 8 gates I don't know what does and as much as I don't want to see Gai die I am curious to see how powerful one becomes using them, though 2 members of the same team dying seems a bit too much isn't it? Poor Lee losing both his rival and then his sensei.

 

Kakashi and Obito working together was great and Minato's pretty stubborn (like his son), he loses both arms so he just uses his mouth but I'm not sure if he actually did anything?

 

I really hope others comment on Madara's aura apart from Sakura because I like the idea of him being so powerful his adversaries are frozen and ever since he gained the Sage's power he's encountered only a handful of people  but if no one else comments on it all that will happen is it will be used as proof of Sakura's weakness or whatever.

 

It's a perfectly valid question given the circumstances but Sakura's "Can i trust you?" I found pretty funny, I just started thinking how does Obito answer something like that "Well i plunged the world into war, formed the Akatsuki that destroyed your village, hunted the Tailed beasts that include your teammate and recently killed your friend... so yes you can trust me". Maybe its not quite an accurate translation, something like "How can I trust you?" would work better I think but that's just me.

oh, I love the reunion of Obito and Kakashi   their panels are just so adorable

also the flashback is pretty good, but..

 

why does Kishi make Sakura suprised and shoked in so many panels? it`s not the first chapter where she just keeps wondering all the time =\
