I like your N-blogs best. :yes: They don't last too long either. We will have much to debate over when the series is done and we have an overall judgement of it.

All I know is later this year, I've got one hell of a year in review to do. This is sure though, 2013 has been better for naruto than 2011 and 2012.

Why so surprised by this news? It is said to be near its end since so many years now.We knew it would still continue 1 or 2 more years. I think it's possible that the manga will end together with the 7th Naruto Shipuuden Movie.

Agree. I know what kind of comments you're talking about: "...Real feelings..."; "...It's my dream since I saw Hinata..."

But someone already put them back to reality.

Hmm to me it feels like he is talking about the ten tails and Madara arc ending soon. Thou he did include Sasuke. Well still after Madara is down it could lead to Sasuke. Anyway it's in everyone's interest for Kishi to prolong his story.

That statement loses credibility since he's said similar things about the shinobi war and yet we all know how much a giant mess it has turned out to be.

 

That, AND I am holding him to his word that Naruto is not ending soon. But that is just me being a little bit selfish. If he genuinely can not come up with anymore interesting plots, then it would be fine to lay Naruto to rest. But if he really chooses to continue, I will support him all the way, but  not if it's because his editors force him to. We don't need a half assed effort that he does not want to do.

He's confirming what we already knew. There isn't going to be anything bigger than what's happening. Doesn't mean it's ending soon either, at earliest I'd imagine it might end in a year and a halfs time.

I have a feeling that naruto will end up with no pairing ..... well its okay as long Naruto is happy Narutards are happy :D

I'm half in half into this, while major shipper fandoms like NH and SS oppose NaruSaku and Kishi afraid of boycott in future releases i think, but also there's no reason why Kishi confirmed Sakura as being like Naruto's mom, i would say, i'm very suspicious of this.

It's possible to have an open ending but Kishi did stuff like Sakura = Naruto's mom, his father approval and pairing being Sakura's role on the story literally goes against the purpose of an open ending.

^Kishi's not the type for open endings. He likes to answer and closure every detail. ;P Either way I think Naruto will have a child to show the new-new generation. I imagine him and his wife walking, holding their child's hands who's in the middle of them. Perspective taken from their backs, but with their face turned around or something. :P
