I actually wish Naruto clones were the pawns since it fits better with the story and the jutsu. Shikamaru should be the Knight just like in the manga. Although getting 16 Shikamaru pieces in a chess set is funny compared to only 2 Naruto.

I see someone already complained about no Hinata.

Well, I just ordered a set.     In the end, I just couldn't miss out on having badass Naruto and Sakura pieces on my desk.

 

I want to order a set, but I can't find a way to add it to my cart...? Am I missing something?

 

EDIT: Found it on Amazon! I can't wait for my set to arrive!

I paid about 70 bucks with 3 business day shipping included. You could probably find it for cheaper somewhere else, but I trust Amazon more than any of the other websites that sell it.

I got a shipping confirmation last Monday, so my order should arrive next week.  I'm not looking forward to paying customs, but it should hopefully be well worth it!

 

If only the set was a bit cheaper, it might have made for a great contest prize.

The more I think about it, I like that Sasuke is a knight because it's what I would imagine him in his future status. If alive but don't return, he can protect Konoha when no one expected. Think as a superhero in their first run, where police force can't approve his/her appearance because that person is not one of them, but at least be thankful for stopping the crime.

 

I always thought he was the Knight because he always walks a crooked path and....never really was straight forward with himself.....or even how he always side-steps danger by one square....or how he jumps so randomly as a character....
