I think the most important part of this chapter was Naruto calling Tobirama uncle.... LMFAO. I kid. But honestly, having jealous Sasuke back might be the best thing that has happend to this manga in a while. I kittening love this Sasuke so much. and Infinite Tsukyomi already?? Damn now things are moving fast. RTN.... SOO MUCH!!

Apparently we lost our biggest argument

Okay so I don’t know if y’all caught this, but NaruSaku fans always go on and on about parallels, so let’s draw one here. 

They usually compare Sakura to Kushina, saying they are the same. Despite the fact that Naruto isn’t really like Minato personality-wise, they still claim the parallel fits perfectly.

On these two pages, Minato compares Naruto to Kushina. A parallel is made, comparing Naruto to his mother (Kushina) as opposed to Sakura being compared to Kushina. 

If you would like to draw parallels, then it’s safe to assume that in the paralleled relationship that Naruto is expected to have, Naruto will be the brash and bold one, since he is being compared to Kushina. Because of that, his partner will have to be the sky and quiet one. 

Also, Minato was inspired by Kushina’s look of determination and apparant confidence in the ability to do anything. The same way that Hinata is inspired by Naruto in his confidence and determination to never give up. Minato is inspired by Naruto in the same way.

And, for the first time, NaruHina takes over the MinaKush parallel, and the NaruSaku fans lose one of their biggest arguments.

 

Oh God. Not this again. What is so difficult to understand that Naruto is a combination between Minato and Kushina. He is not 100% like Minato and he is not 100% like Kushina, he gets traits from both of his parents. The Sakura-Kushina parallel still stands strong.

Despite the plot and interactions becoming more interesting (if not lagging somewhat) there seems to be a noticeable decline in the quality. Now of course there have been some high points throughout this battle that have made me go "wow" but the combat just isn't as enthralling as it was before. I mean there was a perfect opportunity to flesh out this newly learned Kurama Sage Mode yet after the initial assault we're suddenly coming to the Mugen Tsukuyomi being cast. Really doesn't use the prospects of a Jubi jinchuuriki and a senjutsu using jinchuuriki fighting each other to its fullest, does it? Surely I can't be the only one who feels that the fight has become lacklustre in recent chapters.

Hah, this chapter was so funny , very entertaining . Told ya Sasuke will get jelly just like on the hospital roof top when they fought in part 1 , its practically the same stuff re-happening again . He just became useless since he can't use any Senjustu at least for now . Maybe next chapter Juugo will give him a power boost or something like it ,  maybe that's why he needs him .

MinaKushi =/=NaruSaku because Naruto is like kushina thus kushikushi , lol we fail .

Madara and Hashi are back in the picture he saw that Obito starts the Tsukoiyami , so we expect something really good to happen next chapter.

I think it's just Kishi trying to move things along faster than he had originally planned. The manga will end in basically a year so Kishi does need to hurry things up a little if he wants to do so.

This kind of makes sense since Naruto is their child after all.

 

Anyway I don't think MinaKushi parallel was that big of an argument anyway. The biggest proof of NS is mainly how they both feel about each other going as far as considering each other happiness above their own. This and all the other times it was hinted Sakura has "undefined" feelings for Naruto.

 

Anyway, It's been a long night so think I'm gonna crash now... I'll see you guys tomorrow.   Peace

Got done reading the chapter and I must say it was awesome. It was nice seeing some interaction between Naruto and Minato once more. You gotta love Kurama, Naruto had him acting like he was part of the family and his expression was priceless when Naruto called him stubborn. The only downside is the fact that this chapter was so short.

That wasn't our biggest argument, it's arguably our biggest hint.

 

The parallels at no point in time ever give development, they instead hint at what the author is trying to tell us. In terms of losing it, that's debatable, but I believe it's false.

In any case all of the development that NaruSaku has is still in the manga, and one contradiction based on limited information is nowhere near enough to throw out all of the parallels in one swing.

 

The only thing we have to worry about is people going to the NS debate thread posting an argument from some anti-club that repeats what you just said, and then having everyone bash rival fandoms. Other than that, everything is normal until further contradictions are made.

 

 

On a final note, thank you for bringing this topic up for discussion.

Yes that's right, I mean the 631 parallel stand for kushina skip advice. I mean from all advice/message he mention, only the girlfriend part he skip that make me ask why? Than I understand that the reason why naruto skip it, and no naruto and sakura meaningful interaction and naruto hide feeling is because OBITO.

I mean this arc is just like an upgrade version of chuunin exam and konoha invasion arc.

I absolutely LOVED this chapter, I haven't laughed that hard in a while and that mixed with the pure awesomeness of Naruto in Biju Sage Mode, and Minato in Biju Mode teamwork just took the cake.

 

After reading this chapter Kurama is starting to rival Jiraiya as my favorite character.

Maybe Infinite Tsukuyomi won't  be activated just yet in 646 but Naruto will be able to land another attack, this time on the juubi directly and see what effects it has on it. Somehow it should be senjutsu versus senjutsu. I agree thou the fighting is boring as hell. They throw at eachother abilities that could destroy one another in 1 hit but they manage to dodge it at the last moment.

 

Chapter 626 and 627 should conclude this volume so if Obito actually casts Tsukuyomi on everyone there it should make the subject of the next volume.

 

And like always Madara and his trump card. What exactly is it.

I knew Naruto's power up would fuel Sasuke's anger anytime soon! Now it's very obvious Sasuke needs to get some sort of power up to keep up with Naruto and given how he has reacted before to this same situation I believe he will do anything to achieve this power up! (a.k.a. Senju cells).

 

About Obito, he seems to be rushing things a little too much and Madara doesn't seem to like it. Probably we'll see his trump card very soon. And I don't know why but I feel like Obito will not stay as the Juubi Jinchuriki for much longer. 

 

Still, it was a short chapter... nothing related to pairings as expected.

 

Does Sasuke need a power up, or does he need a way to reduce Naruto's power?  Knowing my awesome predicting skills, I know I'm totally going to be off but a couple things I'm thinking of are the fact that Sasuke's jealousy was highlighted this chapter, and for some reason in the same chapter Kishimoto seemed to focus on Kuraama's predisposition to become jealous, in the past we had Sasuke infiltrate Naruto's seal and dispel Kuraama with the base level Sharingan, and we know that the Sharingan can control the Kyuubi, so I wonder if Sasuke would be able to compromise Kuraama in some way, even though he hasn't been released upon the world?  But if Sasuke can do that, why haven't Obito or Madara done so?  Are they waiting for Naruto to somehow get the other half of Kuraama's chakra (but how did they know that the Hokage would arrive, what am I forgetting)?  Or, will Sasuke be able to do something Obito and Madara wouldn't be able to do because of his soul-connection with Naruto (I could see Kishimoto choosing this, you know if I ever thought that anything I predict would actually happen --other than the most obvious things that is).  In addition to Sasuke's abilitity to infiltrate the seal, every time Naruto uses the Kuraama cloak I'm reminded of Yamato's statement that Naruto isn't powerful because of the Kyuubi, but he is powerful because of his ability to keep the Kyuubi in check so will Naruto have to show his strength when he doesn't have access to Kuraama's chakra??

It's as if Kishi has specific destinations planned, but isn't quite sure how to get there or at what pace.  At times he's stalling, and other times he's rushing (and of course, it often seems as if he's forgetting many of the "little people.").

The only reason the parallels are important is because Kishi uses them to inform the audience of what will happen, it's a foreshadowing device and all the parallels are formed around team 7.  NS doens't parallel MK, rather MK parallels NS.  It's a strong argument when analyzing it from a methods standpoint, not necessarily in terms of inside the Universe.  Naruto isn't going to fall for a girl because she's like Kushina, rather Kishimoto had Kushina state that to indicate Naruto will absolutely end up following all of Kushina's advice because he's destined to make his predacessors proud in every way and that that even includes following his mother's love advice.

 

Anyone let out an "awwww" when reading that Naruto apparently called Tobirama Uncle?  Or when it was mentioned that Naruto's surpassing the Hokage, or when "uncle" Tobirama mention Naruto could surpass Hashirama?  I've got to say, after arguing over and over again (elsewhere) that edo tensei Hokage was inevitable so that Kishimoto could show in a concrete way that Naruto has surpassed the Hokage...that was good to read.

this is so wrong, Minato had his own determination if he said that she inspiered him and stuff like that, he just pointed out Kushina's determination, which even on a hard situaation she could do anything, he didnt said "we" or that he was inspired by her, he just pointed out her confidence which Naruto also possess. 

 

lso he didnt made a parallel, he didnt said "he's like Kushina" like he did with Sakura, he just said that Naruto also possess her determination.

 

Naruto = Minato is the valid parallel.

Please, don't start nitpicking.

Yes, he has things in common with Kushina (of course he has, she is his mom), but that does not make him Kushina 2.0.

Naruto has also a lot in common with his dad (fighting style), Harashima (playful personality), Kiba (anger), Lee (always reaching higher), Hinata (yeah, its just their Nindo and Hinata just got inspired by Naruto but still ...) and SAKURA (sense of humor, wich is also very important in a relationship,  just to name ONE thing).
