this is a little gift from Kishimoto for a new application of Shounen jump, the Jump live..

Kishi doesn't use any form of social media. I'm skeptical if he's even aware of the existence of Google or Youtube.

Are you sure? Some of the artistic details and design pieces of the characters looks inconsistent to Kishi's usual style. Perhaps it was drawn by someone at Shonen Jump.

yes because it's also announced on the official site, linked by dark up... What's the problem anyway? It's just a comical relief, besides the jap guys on twitter that this page feels like a SS and NS from their povs..

I believe it is only one page. I believe One Piece had the same. It's probably is one page. Sad, because from far distance, looks like Sakura got a nice body. Just saying.

Well this is interesting. Is this going to be some sort of special omake chapter or something? It seems to be pretty funny.

 

The only downsize is that people on the internet will either 1) Squeal at Sakura defending Sasuke since they ship SS or 2) Talk crap about Sakura beating Naruto since they hate NS.

 

I hope Kishi kept didn't make Sakura too much of a fangirl in this omake. We really don't need to go back to that.

Well according to the comment, seems normal and got a balance comments. The picture is self-explanatory and for a page, it's funny. I don't know how many people would get it but it's easy to note. This is just a one-page shot for Jump Live. Nothing more than that.

So it really is just one page? Now I'm a little down. Even if Sakura acted a little happy with Sasuke I wouldn't have minded an entire omake. After 631 Kishi made it clear that he was foreshadowing NS all along so anything that happens for SS I don't mind as much.

 

One question thought: What is exactly Jump Live? And is that the big event that Kishi talked about?

 

Also, you said One Piece did the same page omake, do you have a link to that one?

Much of the drawings in Kishi's manga are done by his editors, not the mangaka himself. Could the actual process of making the characters and background have been carried by someone else but published under Kishi's name? I noticed several discrepancies like with Naruto's hair (the bangs that hang over his face are missing and his hair is less stylised in the way that Kishi usually draws it), his facial structure (it's typically a smooth thin ovular shape), the choice of apparel for Sakura (Kishi never puts her in clothing that's too revealing), body proportions (Naruto is more lean than his depiction here and as disturbing as this is to say, I don't think Sakura's figure is that curved in the manga), and the shading itself betrays the notion that it's an official release of Kishi's own work. It looks more like that Shippuden ending by Pierrot that was made in comic book format. 

 

The only characters who resemble their manga counterparts are Sasuke and Kakashi.

Well I don't know about live. Lol.

I got to find the One Piece one. It has Brooke posing for camera, then Nami pushed him and she poses for the camera.

Guess people are just joking around, whenever kishi is involved all fans want to leap at it.

 

But yeah don't be surprised if its just more talk and displaying action this week.

 

Fake announcements have come and gone like the one from April in which "kishi" gave a spoiler towards what would happen. Well it was a fake one considering, the author would never really spill all that stuff, even with his RtN interview what he did say was just part of the story and we've seen most of what he said by now. Heck I remember fans claiming how there was an interview in which he said Naruto and Sakura wouldn't get together and me and a lot of other people never found this interview so yeah its fake. Sadly some people believe this stuff because well its stuff that they consider supportive to their views in the manga despite no actual proof or origination. The April fools interview and the older one fans claimed he said, they don't exist cause well there's never been any source of the stuff it comes from as they claim. Funny with claims like these to try and say NH will happen, well its still funny how these claims just become harder to believe when we still see NS stuff being built and focused on.

I did not express my opinion with the image but i'll say this sincerely, i know it's for comic relief but i didnt liked it.
It's has nothing to do with SS, it's just that, the ammount of blood and the power of this hit it's too exagerated to me, i know kishi draw this or one of his assistents, but this is too much, i didnt find it funny at all, now that the manga showed Sakura more gentle and tender with Naruto even when she punched him on 631 wasnt that hard when it was used to be.
This hit on this panel, wasnt funny, it was abusive and made me feel bad instead of being launghing.

I hope kishi doesnt apply stuff like those on the manga.

 

Also didnt kishi avoided to draw Sakura on a bikini?

i mean he said on RTN he doesnt want to draw her on a bikini or revealing clothes.

Have to agree there. Its overdone way to much. It doesnt look like Sakura simply punched him like usual, it looks like she wanted to kill him.
