You know, I got to ask myself: is it wrong to make two smash bros for different platforms and having one with a unique feature over another? Sounds like bad marketing for one or another, which in this case, the Wii U. I really need the motivation to buy a Wii U but nothing.

I was hoping they would add a character from the Tales series. Not that I'm complaining with the current rooster.

I definitely want to give Greninja, Little Mac and Megaman a shot!!  although to be honest I find all characters worth trying out because of the changes made to them and also becasue I want to understand the match ups and play styles of each character more So that I can improve myself.

To be honest, I actually thought Ninty would bring in a new FE rep, so I wasn't expecting him to be back at all. I mean, if booting Roy was any indication...

I am inmensely happy from seeing Pac-Man in Smash Bros. He was my most wanted third party (and I would love seeing Simon Belmont from Castlevania, Ryu from Street fighter, Ryu from Ninja Gaiden, Bomberman, Terra from FFVI / Chrono from Chrono Trigger... but this is a Nintendo mascot fighter, so it should focus on Nintendo Characters)

 

Personally my most wanted Nintendo newcomers in this game are:

 

- Dixie Kong (Donkey Kong)

- King K. Rool (Donkey Kong)

- Ridley (Metroid)

- Isaac (Golden Sun)

- Mach Rider (Mach Rider. Heh. If Rider shows up in Smash we can finally find out if that character is male or female. Check this link if you want to know what I mean: http://www.metroid-d...s/machrider.php)

- Takamaru (Nazo No Murasame Jo)

- Prince Sable (For The Frog The Bell Tolls)

- Mike Jones (Startropics)

- Muddy Mole (Mole Mania)

 

Of course I do not expect most of them, but if at least Dixie, K. Rool, Ridley and Isaac get in, I will be happy. There also a leak about Shulk from Xenoblade and Chrom from Fire Emblem get in. I hope they do it.

Needless to say, it does not mean I am against more modern characters getting in.

I really don't do this but does anybody out there have a download code for the special demo that just came out for club nintendo platinum users? Apparently Nintendo sent out some emails that contain 4 download codes for the demo of Smash Bros 3DS. If anybody here has one I would really appreciate it if you could share one with me.

I have two spare special demo codes for Super Smash Brothers 3DS, so if anyone is interested, please let me know. There's no limit on play sessions, and is available a week before the public demo. You can play as Mario, Link, Pikachu, Villager and Megaman as well as their alternate outfits on the Battlefield stage. The codes have to be redeemed by September 19th, 2014, so please let me know quickly if you want one. I'd rather them be used than put to waste.

Only One week Left until the 3DS version is released!!!!! anyone downloaded the demo? I can't Wait till November!!!!

Okay I got the 3ds version and I must say, it is very good but the aspect that depends is control and this depends on 2 major things:

 

-Your 3ds model

 

-your control setup

 

I have the original 3ds so its not the most ideal, however you can change the controls to be something you want, this includes the 4 letter buttons and shoulder buttons.

 

The original setup is A is attack, B is special, X and Y are jump, R is shield, while L is Grab. I found this default setup to be terrible and confusing, So I swapped R and L to be like the classic gamecube setup, while I made B attack, Y special, and both X and A jump.

 

Also Kirby is a beast if you can use him right. It will take time to get used to, but the console version will be much better.

Anyone not seen the latest Smash Bros Trailer? I'll warn you if you do not want to get the game or buy a Wii U ,I wouldn't watch it, because this trailer will test your wallet. This might just be the greatest trailer for a game of all time, if Nintendo pull this off, this game could be the greatest love letter to it's fans ever!!! I have never been a Nintendo fanboy, but this pretty much sold me a WiiU and a copy of the game to me.

At first I hated R as shield... but it grew on me after I changed it to L Shield, R Grab. I'm ambidextrous, but I mostly a natural right handed guy. But this is beyond the point....

 

Love the game, have no reason to break the bank for the Wii U, and am quite content with the roster

Honestly Mewtwo as a DLC character didn't excite me, mainly cause I didn't care if he returned or not (I actually enjoyed the tears when he didn't; yeah that's sick I know). Now that he'll be here in Spring I don't care, but I guess I hope he's more playable then he was in Melee
