I was certain that we would end up making this conversation.
So, Charizard is definitely beloved, but not the best pokemon out there. Speaking of design, many pokemon have a weird design and Vanillish is not badly designed, but I just find it pointless to have an ICE-CREAM Pokemon.

Yea the firts pokemon definetly seem plausible by design. But something based on food? Nope.

Hmm... The starters nowadays are pretty pathetic. I usually ended up replacing them later on in earlier games. And even though Charizard was a nice and memorable starter, he definitely was not the best. At least when it came down to actual competition.

I'm just hoping the new Fire starter isn't a Fire/Fighting combo again.

Oh yeah. IMO, Chespin is probably the least aesthetically pleasing starter in history. Looks like a mutant chipmunk found a grass beanie.

He's talking about processed food (e.g. ice-cream). Krabby is a crab, which is an animal that can be killed and then be turned into food.

I'm just trying to make a joke out it... there's tons of other things then just Vanilite and it's family. Magnets, Sludge, Pokeballs, whatever the hell Diglett is, Balloons, Gears... all types of crazy stuff

Amen to that. But I don't think the starters now days are too bad, though I admit they have creativity problems with Gen V.

I disagree on the accounts that Gen V has many unique pokemon such as Galvantula, Ferrothorn, Jellicent, Golurk, Bisharp, Cofagrigus, Krookodile, Chandelure, Scrafty, Excadrill, Zoroark, Reuniclus, Escavalier, Haxorus, Braviary, Hydreigon and Volcarona to name a few.

There have only been six Mega evolutions named. MegaMewtwo, MegaAmphraos, MegaBlaziken, MegaMawile, MegaAbsol and MegaLucario.

 

I'm actually interested in getting one of this games, from what I've read it'll take a bit of getting used to the way things work now, my last Pokemon games were Gold & Silver. Well I've got 64 days to get enough money to buy a 3DS and one of the games.

Uh, maybe. except that that is pretty much 99% of the list for now. I only forgot to mention Absol. Point is, the Mega form list is only six pokemon thus far
