@Don-Kun: I know what you mean. You got to admit, these two just have the right chemistry to make it work. They can interact for the whole episode and it will still feel like they have more to do. It doesn't go against the characters since well, they are close friends, so no harm really done. To me, it's always nice to see them interacting together since they can communicate well enough to understand each other.
Also, I do think the movie was like "Sorry for no interaction between them in manga, but I'll make it up in the movie." I mean the interaction between them in the movie has more than the recent NH development, if you want to call it that. I don't know, NS has that daily life interaction whereas Hinata has that "Did I do good? Am I strong?" That's just me.
You know, the thing I'm happy most about is seeing them together again after so long. It's very enjoyable. That said I am actually more excited about this filler arc then I am with the current part of the manga, which in my opinion is kind of boring. I really enjoy seeing a normal village and that fat guy save everyone. He's a damn hero, give him a medal. Man, I wish Naruto could stay this good, but sadly after this filler arc we're going to go back to the same old boring series. It's kind of sad.
Honestly I really loved this episode, much more entertaining then anything I've seen from Naruto in a while. There's just something about it that is right. I hope they keep doing it.
I understand what you mean. It doesn't help that they're in the middle of side characters' glory phase in the anime. I do like what's going on now, it's just I think we are due for good guys interaction. Other than that, I do find this episode enjoyable and breath of fresh air from the current arc. I would have said that long time ago with the movie, but again, movie only release in Japan and other lucky countries.
