Anyways, here's the flipped version of the upper side portion of the color page:

I rage now.

Looking at the flipped side, it's fitting and hilarious that Rock Lee doesn't seem to have changed personalities. XD

His personality is too powerful to be overturned... Which is why it's a little surprising to see that Gai's different. But if the world is based off of Naruto's preferences, it's probably because of this chapter and the way Lee is considerate of Naruto that has Naruto not wanting him to change. This chapter actually explores a little bit about how and why the folks are or aren't different in the genjutsu world.

I'm a little surprised. I know that Naruto is a full-blooded teenage boy but I never thought he had an ero-side like his master. Jiraiya must not have taught him his invisibility technique... or was that only in the anime that he talks to Sarutobi about that?

I don't mind NH and SS fan service in this movie, because it's the last bit they can get before the manga ends. Also, Naruto being nervous about Hinata coming on to him is proof Naruto doesn't feel the same towards her. This movie, although it is flipping the characteristics around, it is also Kishimoto throwing the obvious things at us once again.

Personally what I didn't like about this chapter was the lack of focus on Sakura. She is suppose to be one of the main characters of the movie, yet we have hardly know anything about her role in the movie, other than the fact she is stuck in the genjustu world with Naruto and is PROBABLY falling for AU Sasuke. Also that her dad was also hokage in the genjustu world.

We didn't get anything from her character in this one-shot other than that she is jealous of Hinata's breast, and she beats up Naruto for having panties with him. While all of that is in character for her to do, we still don't have any information about her role in the movie. We never see her interact with Naruto in this chapter (her punch happen off-panel) and we, the readers, are not reminded about Naruto's crush on Sakura. Thus, if I was a new reader or recent reader, I wouldn't know how those two characters interact with each other, heck I probably wouldn't have guess that Sakura was one of the main characters of the series (let alone the movie). Heck, we weren't even reminded of Sakura's crush on Sasuke, giving us nothing about her character.

I know in retrospect that this doesn't really matter, but it has been over 100 chapters (over two years) since we seen Sakura do anything interesting. I was hoping, because Naruto and Sakura are the main characters, that we get something from her in this chapter. But we didn't.

Other than that complaint though, I thought this one-shot was okay. I really like the sudden focus on Lee in this chapter, because we haven't really seen him do anything in awhile. I always liked Lee, but never see him do anything anymore. I guess the sudden focus on Lee made up for the lack of focus on Sakura, an other character who I really like that hasn't gotten a lot of attention lately.

On side note, I hope the upcoming filler, Road to Sakura, will correct that complaint I made.

Nonetheless, there were some parts I did not like or care for. Such like Sakura being jealous from Hinata's frontside. I get it is meant to be a comedic moment, but I find that cliche very overplayed and a tad annoying.

That was an pretty fillerish chapter. I aways liked seeing all the rookies together, so this chapter was an good read. But now I'm thinking, what's the timeline for this movie? Because not only Tobi is wearing his old mask, but all Akatsuki members are alive. Does this mean the movie takes place before the rescue Gaara arc?

You know what draw/calls my attention about this Manga chapter, the fact that Kishi have Hinata seducing Naruto and showing the readers her middle finger. That got me thinking.

Also I need some more thought about the poster and the chapter itself. My mind is kind of frozen and I normaly feed off from the others opinions.

Yep agree, from top to button it felt like an Hinata fanservice, they show of her chest, have Neji ask Naruto if he want to spy and New chest size, showing Sakura feeling jealousy of Hinata's chest and hide the fact that Naruto add Sakura's underwear, like I said from top to button it felt like if Hinata is the heroine character.

Plus the fact that Naruto and Sakura seem like two perfect strangers.

And this just shows how incredibly unrealistic your perception is of teenage girls. OF COURSE she'd feel jealous and insecure about her body. That's perfectly normal for a teenage girl. Anyone who has been a teenage girl would know and has been through it. Everyone at that age would feel insecure about their physical attributes at some point, especially when your friends look better.

Then that means... Rock Lee is the last hope to break Tobi's genjutsu!

Paptala, I think Sakura does look nervous. At first, I thought she was actually smiling at the prospect of this new Sasuke, but I took a double-take at her hands. It looks like she's wringing her hands nervously, so yeah I think she might be just as uncomfortable with AU!Sasuke as Naruto is to AU!Hinata.

That's actually a pretty good point there - taking another look at it, it could possibly be taken as Sakura showing discomfort around Sasuke as well - still, it's a lot more ambiguous (and perhaps purposefully so) than Naruto's discomfort, which couldn't be more blatantly "get the hell off me" - even his hand is positioned in such a way as to seem like he's ready to push her away.

But I too was pretty disappointed by the lack of Sakura in this chapter, though she still has the upcoming filler episode centered around her, as well as playing a large part in the movie itself.

Though I really have to wonder how the hell any of the changes besides giving Naruto his parents back were shown to be something Naruto desires - perhaps the changes Tobi makes are just his superficial understanding of that small scene that he witnessed. I don't know - i'm just ready for the movie to come out already and have a summary of what the hell actually happens.

Well if someone hitting a total stranger, like what Sakura did to Naruto, is what you call two perfect strangers, then by all means that are strangers.

I really like how Sakura stood up for Lee and wasn't willing to jump to conclusions. It just shows how she still cares for and appreciates him even after all the time that has passed since the Forest of Death.

Yes you right, but for me it still seems a little odd. Naruto never made any mental Image that he wanted to see Sakura, and Sakura never thought about Naruto trying to spy on her. By my understanding Neji told Naruto that he wanted to see Hinata big chest and Naruto mentally stated that he forgot about that kind of fun. I was looking for connections for the characters new personality as the chapter stated and by Naruto thinking that way explains the reason why Hinata will be all over him because Neji imply that Naruto has dirty thoughts about her.

The double color spread does look to make a parallel to how weird Naruto and Sakura feel around their respective AU love interests, but with Sakura it really is very ambiguous as to how much uncomfortable she might be. The way she's holding her hands make her look nervous at the very least. Her face looks like a mix of nervousness and flattery, I guess that would be reasonable for Sakura even if she didn't want AU Sasuke to keep flirting with her.

But it doesn't help that in the cover page (the one with Minata, Kushina, etc.) Sakura actually looks happy while she's looking at Sasuke. Sorry if I sound negative, but I just want to state the way I'm seeing it.

I think that scene with Sakura being jealous of how "ample" Hinata is might be foreshadowing for the movie. Judging by the fact that AU Hinata will get jealous about Sakura and that there will be a bath scene in the movie as well, it could be that AU Hinata might make some indirect comment of how come Naruto likes the small chested Sakura when he already has a big chested girl like her. That might send Sakura off the deep end.

Since this chapter focused on how Naruto sometimes felt lonely eating alone in his house, wouldn't it be heartwarming if when the movie nearly ends as Naruto and get back to the real world Naruto bids goodbye to Sakura as he goes to his home alone but at the last minute Sakura stops him and tell him to join her for dinner with her family. It would show how Sakura now understands Naruto better and how she wishes for him to be happy. It's a very nice contrast to how this special chapter ended with Sakura slapping Naruto and saying she doesn't trust him. I personally think that would be the perfect end for the movie.

I'll be honest, as many people, I also didn't like the lack of Sakura in the chapter but I hope that Road to Sakura will compensate for that. Let's hope that it's thanks to Naruto's efforts that she regains her memories and the trigger for it better not be some memory of Sasuke, I'll be angry if that happens.

P.S. Does nobody know what Sai wrote in that paper in the double spread that made Sakura so mad? I'd really like to know.
