How do you figure Hinata got more focus than Ino? Not that I'm doubting it, given Studio Pierrot loves her, but weren't they both just sitting on the grass, and then Ino also got the cards with the rest of her team and Asuma's knife?
----
I really do love the expression on both of their faces though - Sakura all blushing, half lidded eyes, and a peaceful smile on her face, and Naruto with half lidded eyes looking as those he's at first leaning into her hands until they fade away.
I love how the animation team gives us so much Sakura -> Naruto; I think its pretty telling that they've never given us Sasuke -> Sakura or Naruto -> Hinata in any OP or ED that I can ever recall; hell there's barely even any Hinata -> Naruto and Sakura -> Sasuke in the OPs and EDs (one for the former, and two for the latter, and there still not on the same level as the NS fan service in OPs and EDs).
Sure it's filler and doesn't really count, but let me revel in NarSak's far superior fan service for a while. >///<

This, so much this.
Even if the animators have a Hinata favoritism there are some things they accept as truth:
1) Hinata has feelings for Naruto, but he doesn't for her
2) Sakura has feelings for Sasuke (even if they're negative), but he doesn't for her
3) Naruto has feelings for Sakura
4) Sakura has growing feelings for Naruto
They let those facts be shown in the OPs and EDs. The previous opening with Naruto trying to hug Sakura (3), the previous ending involving the four of them (1 and 2) and now the current ending with Sakura reaching Naruto (4).
There are never any scenes showing Naruto being receptive of Hinata's feelings or of Sasuke being receptive of Sakura's feelings, is always about how the girls feel. Naruto and Sakura are the only ones shown to be receptive of each others' feelings (with Naruto trying to hug Sakura in the previous opening and now Sakura reaching out to Naruto in the current ending).
Furthermore, in the previous ending implying NH and SS, which as I said only involves the girl's feelings, the faces Sakura and Hinata make are very sad, as if those sentiments are causing them angst. Now look at the face Sakura makes in this new ending when she reaches to Naruto, it's the complete opposite of before. She now looks happily calm, at peace and has a gentle loving expression in her face.
When it comes to Sakura's feelings if it involves Sasuke it always makes her sad but when it's something related to Naruto it always makes her smile.

As for the episode,am I the only one who noticed this mistake? Gin/Kin had the Kurama whiskers on their face BEFORE they jumped into Kurama.

Thanks for summarizing all of the pairing discussions for Naruto.

I mentioned that on the first page.
It's not surprising people are focused on the NS fan service in the new ED because
1) We already know what happened story wise because most people already read it in the manga
2) From what I've seen, most people found this part of the story boring (myself included)
3) The animation quality was incredibly poor this episode
But I agree that Kishi likely didn't tell the animation team to do that - I'm not really sure what they base their ED and OPs off of aside from their own interpretation of the manga characters and story line.
Though I have to wonder if Kishi lets the animation team in on any of the stuff that's going to be coming in the future of the manga - maybe to make sure that they don't misrepresent a character??
@ reddragon: I agree about the facial expressions - nice catch.
Basically, way subtler fan service then any of the NaruSaku fan service that I can recall, if that makes any sense.

One last thing I want to mention, because this thread is becoming the new ending thread.
If you ask me, the studio didn't mess with the pairing but only share one person's pov. When it comes to NaruSaku, they go full force. As if they're that confident that it's the main pairing (can't blame them, it's there). I mean I lost count on how many fanservice they done for the pairing. It's that many. Openings and endings. So it's not like they mess their own dignity (minus fillers). So props to them, I guess.
Since morning, I can't believe the studio put something so obvious yet nice treat to us. Maybe they know something that we don't.

That aside, I wondered before if ladybugs had any special meaning and found out they're supposed to represent good luck. But also, in asian traditions if you capture a ladybug and later release it they say it will go to your true love.
It's funny because even though the ladybug went from Naruto to Sakura it later ended up with Random Ninja #235.

No I get it. Unfortunately, I personally found that fight /really/ boring, so I don't have much to comment about it. Plus, it already happened in the manga and was discussed when the fight occurred the first time. The only thing new to discuss about it is how it was animated, and to be honest, the animation quality wasn't anything impressive in this episode.
If you'd like to spark some conversation about the episode/fight itself, then why not ask a few questions or make a comment or two about it yourself? We've both commented on the animators error by adding the whisker marks on the brothers before they were eaten by Kyuubi.
And lastly, obvious is obvious, but this is a forum aimed at pairing fans - of course that's what people /here/ are going to focus on, especially given the relative lack of fan service recently for NaruSaku. This probably isn't the best place to get discussion on the actual substance of the anime, particularly when there's pairing fan service somewhere in it.
It's funny because even though the ladybug went from Naruto to Sakura it later ended up with Random Ninja #235.
That thing about releasing the lady bug and going to your true love
And yea, lmao about it going to the random fodder ninja, but I think the focus was just on shinobi in general, seeing as the headband had the kanji for shinobi on it and everything - maybe that's when it meant simply good luck
Oh she definitely was

Could Random Ninja #235 be LoverNin?
I'm mostly joking, I think it's a random nin. But it's kind of weird to have Captain Noname stuck in with all these familiar characters. But, eh...it's just an ending. Oops, I'm sorry.... Let me rephrase that: "OMG NARUSAKU IN THE ENDING OMGZZZ!!!!!!11"

Huh?? I'm pretty damn sure that the ladybug wasn't with Sakura beforehand to Naruto. I'll check it again.
EDIT: Yeah, definitely not. It was with Naruto all along.

Hmm, yes it may seem that animated studio, who has been animating the Naruto series for a decade now, may actually know something that we, Narusaku fans who just go on this site and speculate, may not know.
FYI I was being sarcastic.

But Sakura did see it pass by in the middle of the ending, when Konohamaru and the gang arrived. I think it would've been to obvious a tease if it landed on Sakura so they just made her see the ladybug and smile at it, as if indirectly smiling at Naruto.
