Imagine if the Space Program ran that way.
"You said you wanted to put a man on the moon, you didn't say you wanted him out. Oh i know, what if we throw golf balls and tires at the moon. Making it like a garbage ladder."

Yeah, I guess. I'm just worried for everyone near beaches and especially wetlands, they hold more then, I believe, 40% of the bird population.

Video game characters know how to get the job done better than BP.

So you watched the hearings where BP, Transocean and Halliburton all tried to point the finger at each other?
BP seems to have gotten stuck with it - especially after insisting that no extra safety measures were needed, ignoring several warning messages that day, removing one of their safety measures and now admitting that they weren't prepared for a spill.

They've tried a couple times, but it's tough when the oil is coming out so fast. It's kinda like putting your hand in front of a fire hose.
I'm pretty sure that if the issue was as simple as wanting to be able to use the pipe in the future, they wouldn't be drilling two additional lines to the same oil field.

Somewhere, someplace, George W. Bush is wondering "if only people thought that when I was President."
Obama's being skewered by both the right and the left on this and its impossible for me to feel sorry for him.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh.........
Only so much one can do. Therefore, one should do it correctly. Like Nate said, I'm not feeling any sympathy for him.

Screw you BP and handing people only one $5,000 pay check to live off of and not even paying the clean up workers who are ruining their own boats to help and falling ill to the crude oil stinch!

What really makes me mad is a British oil company is in charge of everything happening off our coast. I have nothing against the Brits by the way just mad at BP.
