Anyway... we still have Toonami, so maybe we're just a bit behind in failure and will catch up sometime soon?
Another Canadian cartoon I enjoy is Martin Mystery!

If you referring to the Anime Network, that channel is not one of the free ones. That channel is like a PPV, which just pissed me off.

I love Martin Mystery, great Canadian show, as for this show, I'm not too into it because latley I don't watch TV, just go to YouTube for Anime and play video games... depressing...
A hand holds up the sky while shamefully I make my plea
The alter's callin' but my legs won't seem to stand
Guess I'm a coward scared to face the man I am

Cartoon Network will DIE, but it will be reborn into something different.
Second if you havent noticed: G4 got rid of it's Anime Unleashed, then Toonami and in Adult Swim. Now they have anime on Sci-Fi, which will be gone soon enough.
The anime areas of regular channels are dwindling to nothing. and sadly, there isnt much we can do but buy or go online to get your anime fix...which is sad. B/c I got into anime b/c of Anime Unleashed: every friday, watch Serial Experimental Lai and Soultaker. The darker animes...but sadly that went bye bye.
Life is short so best to know what you are capable of. Enjoy the Ride of life and yet keep a close eye on everyone around you. because one day, they could be your saving angel.

and as for chanels changing: Spike used to be The Nashville Network, which showed stuff like the grand old opary and G4 was techtv which was gaming/computers/anime the G4 bought it and tossed out just about everything from Techtv besides X-play.

But honestly, let me call all your nay-sayers BS. It may not have been a cartoon, but I bet in you watch(ed) a teen drama. Don't believe me? You know how many anime's we watch are gears towards teens and some of the issues they face? While it may not be the upfront plot line, it's mixed.
When you were little, did you watch Doug? That's like a 90's version of the shows that are on now and your complaining about. It was geared towards young or preteens about the stuff they deal with. Since it was the 90's it was really tame compaired that what they show now. The major issues then were crushes and zits. There were soooooooooo many shows on Nick that were like TDI or 6teen, but fit to their time period. Salute your shorts, Clarissa Explains it All, Pete and Pete, Doug and I know I'm missing a bunch more. Alice Mac, That show with the girl that could turn to goo, The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo. All of these were drama shows that had a lot of teen drama stuff mixed in.
But really, if your that hurt that CN is no longer appealing to you, yeah you the 20 something year old, what a shock that a teen drama seems silly to you! Let me just say this, every year they get new views for every one that grows out of what their showing. Their not going to cave in an crumble cause your not watching anymore. There's millions of viewers in the age ranger their marketing to that will still be there to watch. There's a reason that at 10 they switch to broadcasting Adult Swim, to keep you in their pocket. So you out grew stuff like Cartoon Cartoon shows, they'll still have you tuned in for their late night programing.

So do I
It's doesn't take itself seriously, and is just a quirky fun show to watch. I look forward to the new season this summer
How about rewinding back even further to a time when it was known as Extended Play, and Adam was the only host. I hate X-play now. I stopped watching it completely over a year ago. All they do now is hate on any and all anime-based games, and it gets really old after the first 1000 lame, snarky jokes and insults

wrong, it won't die.
I don't watch much of the CN shows anymore, but the shows they have, do well with their target audience. They have to cater to the ones who watch it, which are kids, so I dont have any issue with what they have. If it was aimed at an older demographic it'd be a different story.

I hear TDI did very well for CN. Personally, I loved the show.

Agree. I also stop watching CN, except only for Naruto and maybe Bleach when I catch it.
