I think, I'd still keep their friendship the same way. (weeell, maybe I'd make Sakura confess, MAYBE, but that's not the point.)
The thing is, I want NaruSaku to become canon because of their own accord.

If I were in Naruto's shoes for a day, I'd ask Sakura to go to somewhere special and romantic.
Then while we were there I'd do something small, ie. move my hand a little on top of hers while we were sitting down. I dont think Sakura would mind. In fact I think she likes him a whole lot more ever since he came back from training with Jiryiah (however you spell it).

Although she got mad at him for saying, "its ok you havent changed a bit." when she asked him if shes become more womanly, what did he think of her before he left? He already was willing to risk everything for her. As far as I can see hes just saying he would still give it all for her, not him beeing block-headed.

I think it'd be strange for me to see Naruto get the ball rolling.
But since Naruto and Sakura seem to be equally oblivious to there feelings for each other, I think someone else is going to have to start things for them.

I can't stop laughing when I read that some of you guys saying "Tell Sakura I love her" or anything close to that. No offense to any of you, but IMO Sakura KNOW Naruto likes her, she just don't return the feeling.

IF I WERE NARUTO FOR A DAY (that is if I were a guy xD)....
I'd probably think up some really stupid but adorable way to ask her out/to actually make it "official" .... like give her a bag of fortune cookies that have notes in them that say what "I" like so much about her and put something "special" on a colorful one that says "open last" or something...i can't believe i just wrote that

I'd take Sakura somewhere OTHER than Ichiraku Ramen...hm, it would be tough to get rid of Sai long enough to be alone with Sakura though...so I would just send a Kage Bushin to distract him....
