That is another great example of a real possible scenario and I've read that doujin-in-progress and your fic as well Toasty, a good amount of times, and that if the events that already transpired had not already happened, something like that doujin and Toasty's fics would maybe happen.

^^ How can you tell from that? What if by serendipity, that they decided to have their emotional face-to-face to where it all begin and everything comes out well and then there shall be closure and the happy ending that all of us are looking for.

You see any BENCH available during the war? I want them to redo the scene yeah but there's no bench and I'm sure THEIR bench is gone completely sabotaged by Nagato

Oh no you made no outburst I'd like for a bench scene part II as well but they HAVE no bench and I just remembered Yamato was missing too so scratch him making a bench

I'm sure there's alot of benches in the medic camp. After getting exhausted from kicking too much ass, Naruto will faint and be sent to the medic camp to rest for awhile. Then comes our favourite pink-haired medic to treat him. Before he goes back out to kicking asses, he can even do the scene on his ward bed. Heck you don't even need any form of benches, we just need the two of them to meet damn it!

By the way; speaking of the bench scene, was it a filler? Cause i could see how something like that could happen (the confession with the whole forehead thing.) but was the original in the actual manga.

Well, that would have been nice and would have made the process faster.

But anywho, what's done is done and the past is the past. Its only there to determine how a person acts in the present and in the future.

Sakura will have to eventually find out about this soon, because, I can't imagine any main pairings being canon without resolving that bench scene. And then after that's all resolved, there would be words spoken between both Naruto and Sakura and then before you know, they are officially canon and the critics and the haters are going to be silenced for the moment. SILENCED, I SAY!!!! Sorry about that, just needed to get that out.

Again, its another aspect of the story, that I can't wait to see and read. Hope, its good and that both Naruto and Sakura are portrayed in a tasteful manner when that happens.

Wait, that could be perfect!!! Since they are repairing everything in the village maybe Sakura could see that the bench being rebuilt and that could remind her of that encounter, and it would set the stage.

She could be sitting in a chair and looking tired or something, (if she has room for a break / has to attend to someones wound / her own wounds ) and if the alliance is doing well with their reinforcements, he could check in on her.

damn straight, I think that is what will win Sakura over, remember what Kushina said Minato's compliment found her soul mate for her. I am sure the same will happen here.
