At this moment I really don't care for the live action but I do care for the rebuild. And side note Historic, it was the anime series not the manga that they were pissed about. I mean the manga is still stuck on volume 10.

I sometimes forget to differentiate in the case of Eva, as I usually just refer to a series(Anime and Manga) as its manga form. I've never read the manga so I don't know anything about it but I was refering to the series as a whole.

You know I'm looking at this thread and what's funny is is that it justs looks like a conversation between me and Historic. Anyways, yeah, the manga is actually really really REALLY slow. It usually takes a year for a new one to come out.

two things...dude i cant wait for rebuild, second is, when you say "New" in the Manga, do you mean as in just came out and it's from the old episodes, or as in brand new and ahead of the episodes?

Well, the manga is still ongoing... and has recently just passed the Kaworu (17th) angel part.... so it is still behind the anime... and new as in, well, the recently printed/released chapters! xD

thats kinda to be expected though you know? ANd about rebuild....what the hell is going to be the context of it now? EVA's gone, angel's crushed, and third impact prevented. (Kinda)

Rebuild is a retelling of the story and should be a final retelling if it goes according to what they plan. New characters, new scenes and a whole new ending. Plus they say that its finally gonna happen! Well, more like me and my friends hoping it happens. Shinji and Asuka finally together.

after watching allangelion's and stuff...i fell the EXACT same way man.... they 're such a contrast but yet they seem to mesh all too well. They're a pair made for eachother, that's for damn sure.

Something about the live action movie :

It's not directed by Anno and Gainax. It's directed by the guy who voice acted as Shinji. Basically we have a voice actor playing movie maker guy.

The castings are going to made on white caucasian rule , which by the way is bad. I don't want to see some 13 year old Jimmy Steward playing a role of a japanese anti-social kid.

About the animation films , I predicted Anno's move since the last movie. Anno is like a small kid. He won't stop making movies and try to explain things his way till we get it right.

I havnt heard anything about Spike Spencer directing the live action movie though. Where did you hear that?

Sadly, I doubt its going to make its way on to the internet for a little while. Espcially if its going through the theatres.

I'm really looking forward to it now though. I never thought Evangelion was overall bad in anyway, I just wish he had done it differently. Now that I stopped really caring what happened, and didn't, I really like the series.

Thats the torrent for the first movie. Which I must say rocked! There's no subs since this thing is real fresh off the black market. But if you are a true eva otaku you don't need subs!
