Also I don't know if its just me but the way Naruto and Sasuke fought the villain kind of reminded me of the 6th DBZ movie.

I so have to agree with you there. Man, they make it look like Konoha has only twenty ninja and that all they need to be the most powerful village. Shino eliminated that whole fleet with metal-eating bugs effortlessly.
Anyway, I love how Naruto goes insane at the end, banging Rasengan after Rasengan into that gravity-defying floating city. Like the little NaruSaku in the movie: I know that Sakura really enjoyed Naruto holding her - you can see that from her expressions before and after the punch. I wonder how she would have reacted when Naruto and hinata tell her they met Sasuke?
This was way better than the first movie, and actually enjoyable. Sasuke still proves that he can work as a team with Naruto. If only our blonde hero's new ransengan styles were canon...
Priceless ending though. Sakura was jealous but she couldn't really do anything about it without giving herself away. I didn't see much NaruHina here (I'm actually alright with that pairing), except for Hinata's common behavior around Naruto.
Better than the 1st, let's hope the 3ed one nails the characterization perfectly.

Shino was awesome, Kakashi didn't do anything (which I was fairly dissapointed by) and the Sai scene's were cool too.
I liked the NS stuff in there, especially when Sakura smacked him when Naruto was holding her in his lap. xD
The Sasuke and Naruto stuff was cool, but some of the other things were stupid, like Reibi being "Zero tails" and the part where Shinou turned into this super-strong guy with a huge body looked like a rip from DBZ.
I did like the ending though, and overall it was a pretty good movie. ;D

Sakura, Hinata, Kakashi, and Shikamaru didn't even need to be in this movie. They didn't contribute anything at all.
Sasuke was hyped as a huge part of the story in the previews, but he doesn't show up until more than halfway through the movie, and then doesn't really do anything other than give Naruto ideas and be aloof.
And poor Naruto was back in "Filler Mode" during the first half. He was written as a complete imbecile, even worse than when he first became a Genin. There's no reason to write the main character like that, and still have him get his ass kicked all over the place.
As for those of you talking about the "moment" between Naruto and Sakura, I don't see it. Getting punched in the face for taking care of someone isn't what I'd call romantic. In fact, the shippiest moments happened between Naruto and Sasuke.
Which says a lot about the movie writers.

I really did like the development of the relationship Naruto had with Amaru. I just wish it would show a little more of Sakura wondering to herself if (with Amaru going with Naruto) would mean that she would be left out. What I would have loved at the end would have been the two girls fighting over how to heal him. That would have rocked!

Good catch. Now that you mention it I do remember her talking him being to close to her face. I just felt like the movie lacked the emotional appeal between Naruto and Sakura that I would have expected. To me, it didn't really seem promote any love interest between NaruSaku or NaruHina as some people had mentioned before I saw the movie. If anything, it was a NarutoXAmaru pairing. In a way I perfer Amaru over Hinata. But that's just me.
