Hi trang95! Yes i do think so, good animation aside, every characters are developed well in their own way

Its a good adventure+mystery story with a twist

If ure very curious u can try reading the light novels, i hear some fans are translating some chapters on re zero reddit

Also did u know theres also 2 manga adaptions, both depicting different arcs? Theres some extra scenes there because anime has its own time constraint.. and light novel is also an adaption of the original web novel where they deleted several gory/repetitive scenes

yeah it's best to stay away from forums, tvtropes, even google   i got spoilt while googling for re zero novel illustrations

 

the manga's linked in my first post of this page, just saying  events like the king candidacy scene has more content to prove each candidate worth.. if you want to see a badass puck, click here to see the chapter

 

anime is currently ahead of the manga adaptation lol, and both manga/LN are a lot more cruel...

as painful as it is, i really like everyone's characterization.. and i even agree that the tragedy happened because of emilia's incompetence..

crusch is okay though.. subaru's basically asking her to risk the lives of her people for something she doesn't trust

 

imo crusch and anastasia are really the only legit leaders.. emilia's too nicey nice, priscillia's crazy, felt only wants a revolution and won't last long on the throne
