I wish I could say that my dad was my hero, but he is so NOT!
My childhood hero was Brittany Spears... and the Power Puff Girls XDD

Heh, the Beatles. I saw Yellow Submarine when I was two years old. Funny, I can remember feeling the most drawn to John even in a cartoon version- "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" was romantic and dream-like, something that just made my preschool mind go "wow!", and he was the main guy who changed the Blue Meanies with "All You Need is Love". Ten years later I read an interview with John and Yoko and instrantly they were both my heroes. They had the same dreams and ideals I did, they were creative thinkers like me....
Dream you dream alone is only a dream, but dream we dream together is reality- Yoko Ono 1971
When you go to war, both sides lose totally- Yoko Ono
Remember, our hearts are one. Even when we are at war with each other, our hearts are always beating in unison- Yoko Ono 2009

For me it was always either Sonic or Mario since they were the first games I ever played and they've always held a special place in my heart.

As far as real people go, when I was a child, that would have to be my dad (cliche, I know). I was quite a brat back then, but nonetheless he took me everywhere when he wanted to have fun, whether it was a for a hike, for golf, or shopping for wine (not that he let me had a taste, I would've probably hated it anyway). Even when he was sick with cancer and got a trake, he managed to play with me whenever the doctors let him stay home. I also sucked at drawing the characters on the tv, but for me, he could do it PERFECTLY.
As for fictional characters, I was obsessed with Darkwing Duck, Underdog and Sonic the Hedgehog (recognize a pattern here?) That being said, Sonic is the only one that continues to be something of a presence in my life, with the games if nothing else. I just liked and still like how he can practically go anywhere at top speed, defeat enemies that would otherwise require super-strength, and his attitude. I lol'd whenever Robuttnik went "I HATE THAT HEDGEHOG!!!"
