That is a good point. Since Mitsuki has nothing to gain from, like Sarada with hax of Sharingan and Boruto coming soon to have everything, he might as well have Snake Sage. It does beg the question about hard work but whatever.

I think the reason Mitsuki has snake sage mode this early was to further set up the Sasuke parallel. Sasuke wasn't a character defined by hardwork and was skilled partly due to his natural talent and being a prodigy.
