@Blazing Dynamo:
What happened to your confidence lol?
685 is a wild card. There a lot of different translations and it's probably not a good idea to argue any argument for it, be it pro-SS or anti-NS. But, if you ask me, that didn't change any of what I thought. I always thought Sakura still had some sort of romantic attachment to Sasuke. That only that surprised me was that Sakura actually admitted it in front of Naruto.
But whether Sakura was referring to romantic love for Sasuke or platonic, if Kishi still has consistency, then 685 won't spell anything good for SS. Kakashi said Sakura's feelings for Sasuke changed in 675 also, not just "she still has feelings for someone who tried to kill her" Her feelings did change, whether Sakura sees it yet or not. As for me, I chose to believe she doesn't know but Kakashi supported her feelings changed by use of aikitteneru, a term only used in this manga for family examples. Or Sakura didn't mean her confession romantically and Kakashi supported that (doubt it).
All the examples you said for SS can by moot by 675. Maybe even before that because Sakura did put Naruto first during the confession arc. She didn't want him to chase after Sasuke to hurt himself partly, she came to him first, and she tried to forget about Sasuke all for him. It wasn't quite there yet, but still a hint.
What I dislike about the 631 argument is that people intentionally ignore how Sakura didn't even deny she was his girlfriend when in Part 1 she did. A punch shouldn't make a difference, especially with the tsundere that Sakura is. I've seen tsunderes who threw a table at someone that was confirmed she liked for even touching her. Sakura's hit means nothing.
I understand NH's arguments the least. Naruto never liked Hinata. In Part 1 Naruto's love for Sakura grew more sincere towards it was after the "I like people like that you" line. Any value in 615 romantically and everything else before that was demolished by 631. Naruto doesn't joke about liking someone and he would not call someone he didn't like his girlfriend. You don't understand Naruto IMO if you think otherwise. I will never understand why anyone thinks he likes Hinata and is over Sakura.
