I know... but it's the same kanji used by Kushina when explaining her and Minato's fated love ;)
I haven't seen Mito's words, but I suppose she used the word 運命 "unmei" which means "fate" it's not the same word in japanese. There are a lot of words in japanese that are composed of several kanji, I suppose you know that since you seem to have a lot of knowledge.

I know. Well, my knowledge is rudimentary, most of all. What I base my opinions on in most of the cases, is the context of the story. :)
Why else would have they put the fate kanji in Sakura's one of all this movie is about some fated stuff? Not to mention, remember what lies behind the MinaKushi - NaruSaku parallel? Red thread of fate...
I do understand what you're saying and I do respect that, but I have my reasons to strongly believe that the respective kanji isn't put there just for lulz, so to speak, as it has a deeper meaning to it. :)

But it's not the kanji of fate, it's the kanji of life. 運命 means fate, but 命 alone means life.
But don't worry I understand that to do your analysis properly you have to see deeper than what we see at first sight.

Okay, thanks for clearing that up for me then!
Mind if I ask you what the other kanji besides the life one means, by its own?
Thanks!
You called me?
OMG OMG YES I DID! I need your help with some translations, PLZZZ!! I will forever be in debt to you!
This info might help
