I mean that's Sakura and Naruto's relationship. They would sacrifice anything for each other. Sakura almost died/lost all her chakra to save Naruto. He carried the burden of Sasuke being a criminal/trying to bring him back among other things. Unlike hinata who hasn't done a GOD DAMN THING for Naruto other than give him some medicine. If hinata didn't have the bakugan she would be usless, because she isn't that great of a fighter. Lots of people had to save her a*s unlike Sakura who had to be saved only like once or twice.

 Yess. That is why I love this pairing so much. Hinata is too overrated. All they care about is her boobs. Booby! Booby! Booby! I feel sorry for all our female members.

 

Hey! I have an idea. Why don't we bulk up Kishi's assistant's Tweeter inbox with gifts and pics of Kishi being a sexism and the one her chidori's his wife through the chest with Sakura's image

Oh yes, the old debacle over whether or not the full movie was actually previewed. Well this person was able to provide a general summation of the core events of the film's story which TakL referenced. The questionability of this source's knowledge of the film was silenced when the premiere on the 6th of December coincided with what he stated.

They are but this one is about the fact Sakura gets a moment but completely shafted by others that keeps having her look like third rate. I kept giving Kishi chances but he keeps ruining it more and more that I couldn't defend her anymore.

Well Naruto, supposedely the main character of this story, couldn't even beat Sasuke in their final fight because we can't have Naruto looking stronger than Sasuke. That shows you just how biased Kishi is towards Sasuke.

This kitten is one if things that pissed me off the most with this series. Sakura was always excluded when it came to Naruto & Sasuke's relationship.
Whose a main character? Definitely not Sakura
Whose actually been there for Naruto 24/7, and hasn't tried to kill him? Definitely not Sakura
Whose actually worked for her abilities, and didn't need some God to give it to her? Definitely not Sakura
Who actually has treated Naruto as a best friend, and not some retribution for some kittening eye power? Most definitely not Sakura
Sasuke didn't deserve jack kitten from either Naruto or Sakura, but look at where we're at now

I never cared for Hinata. She bored me immensely and her design was very unappealing. NH represents just Hinata, beta males, without effort, inactivity, boredom, unsexy, single-minded and stupidity, ironic since the manga version of Naruto is the opposite. I never saw nh as Naruto having anything to do with it which makes sense that S.P and Kishimoto had to create a likeness version that has no actual relationship with Hinata. 

Exactly! If Kikitten created Hinata before Sakura and always planned her as Naruto's love interest why didn't he place her in the same team as him and incorporate her more into the main storyline. Sakura was always the crux of the Naruto saving Sasuke arc so at least she has that.
Kishimoto said himself in an interview that when he needed a heroine he created Sakura. Why not just use the female character he already created named Hinata who was already in love with Naruto? Instead he creates this new girl and makes Naruto in love with her.
Kikitten makes no kittening sense. Hinata was never Naruto's true love interest.

There is NO way Kishimoto or SP would state that Sakura had feelings for Naruto even after 698. If kishimoto said that he is the biggest idiot and hypocrite. So if it's true then why didn't Sakura just confess her feelings to Naruto??? Because she felt sorry for Hinata and unworthy? Because Naruto never confessed??Doesn't make sense. The only way Kishimoto can redeem himself is by saying SP made him go with Naruhina and Sasusaku in the end.  If he did actually say Sakura had romantic interest for Naruto...ugh no words. Just no words. What would have been the point of all of these unwanted pairings?

This manga and the characters have been sacrificied for the sequel, Tricksie had some great posts about it, still that’s a huge gamble to take only time will tell if that was a wise move (well from a commercial standpoint at least) or not. The thing is they could have avoided this fiasco since they had time to make things believable to connect the original manga and the sequel but they choose the worst way possible and now they are doing so much damage control. What a weird strategy, I'm really interested in how far it will get them, wiĺl the sequel be a success or are

people fed up tired and disappointed. I know that worse garbage than Naruto manages to sell but still that’s pushing things way too far, even my brother who is a casual reader and is the one who showed me Naruto (he owns 55 volumes) has given up not because he was disgusted but simply because he doesn’t care anymore it's over and the destination isn't worth investing more money in the manga that's why he won't buy the last remaining mangas and has already replaced Naruto with other mangas like hunter x hunter, and of course Berserk thanks to me (I own all the Berserk manga), even dragon ball multiverse a fanmade manga is more interesting to him than anything naruto related. Obviously they are looking for a new market to replace the old one but I'm not quite sure that’s the best strategy.

At this point I don't really care about any news concerning Naruto since I know it will be more butchering of a manga and characters I once loved that’s why I dismiss the ending and everything after it as completely unrelated to the original manga I just want to know if that was worth it. If the sequel is a success then I can't really blame Kishi SJ and SP for their choices because unfortunately this is how the world works but if the sequel is a flop then I'll be happy that sometimes it's better to let your own creativity guide your choices instead of profits and money, divine justice shall we say.

 

Great post Awes9 and great blog post you linked to. I agree, I don't care about anything that happens going forward. I don't believe that there will be two more chapters. Sounds like an NH fantasy. Why bother with adding to the manga when NH had a whole movie devoted to making them canon? And why put focus on SS when they couldn't spare even two minutes in the movie? Even in the illustration of the family portrait, a mutually happy SS is not shown. So why give pages in a chapter to an SS romance and kiss? 

 

Sounds to me damage control and wish fulfillment. So if it's magically increased from Kishimoto adding two pages to the volume instead to two whole chapters...then I'll believe it when I see it.

 

Anyway, about the blog post, this the part I love best:

 

He had two years to write something that lead to the ending we got in chapters 699-700.  Two years to link the manga to what The Last is selling us.  Why wouldn’t he take advantage of that time to make his manga flow sensibly?  Why did he make Sasuke and Sakura’s interactions painful to watch—so bad that it has been triggering for some people who have suffered from abuse?  Why doesn’t Naruto begin to reciprocate Hinata’s feelings in some way?  Why do Hinata and Naruto converse a total of 15 times (with ONLY 6 in part two) in 700 chapters of manga?  Why does Naruto tell his father that Sakura is his girlfriend?  Why does Minato verify that the “girl like me” that Naruto’s mother mentioned is indeed Sakura?  Why does Sakura literally hold Naruto’s heart in her hand and pump it?  Ironically, her medi-nin skills were useless during this moment for him—so Hinata could have played this role if Kishimoto had wanted her to.  When an author wants something to happen, he or she can and will write to make it happen.  Kishimoto did not write to make NaruHina or SasuSaku happen.

Well going with what we know I can assume she never confessed because she deduced correctly that Naruto only loved her because he was just trying to one up Sasuke. Once she found out that to be true all her feelings for him were gone.
