I don't care shipping, all I hope from this movie is to reveal more about the history of the Narutoverse. Because let's face it, we know VERY little things about it, we don't know the history of the Iwa, Kumo, Suna and/or Kiri + the smaller villages, how created Danzo the Root, what are the "Six Paths" that Obito mentioned to Konan and the corpse of Nagato ect.

I haven't posted much in this thread, usually because of a lack of time on my hands.
But with Naruto coming to an end, I figured I would give my thoughts on this pairing that I've followed for 10 years.
My feeling is I can't believe it was all for nothing.
I can't believe that scene on the bench where Naruto pretends to be Sasuke and says exactly what Sakura was thinking was for no reason.
I can't believe that the manga developed from Sakura just seeing Naruto as an annoyance at first, to a teammate over the Land of Waves arc, to an actual friend through the Chuunin exam arc where she's willing to quit the exam for him and later have them cheering for each other, and all of it leading to nowhere.
I can't believe that before nearly being crushed to death by Gaara, that the last thing Naruto thought about was Sakura being in danger, which in turn gave him the drive to do the summon.
That's all just from part one. Sakura was built up from seeing Naruto as a pest, to being a teammate, to being a friend and eventually a very close friend.
At the end of part one, it's seeing Naruto so hurt and defeated looking that drives her to become a better ninja under Tsunade.
It just continued from there in the second half, Sakura caring so much about Naruto in the rescue Gaara arc, trying to save him at all costs when he went into the four tails mode. And especially what Yamato said to her on the bridge.
Later on of course, Sakura offering to help Naruto eat his ramen, showing a direct contrast to the first bell test. Followed by the hug after pein.
Then there was Sakura's confession. Where she basically wanted to put aside what she wanted and take out Sasuke to ease his pain. Now, this of course may not have been the best route, but it's undeniable that it was done because she legitimately cares about him.
And finally I can't believe that the comparisons to Kushina and Sakura rushing to Naruto's aid, it being her top priority to save his life above all else, while Hinata just tripped, was all for nothing.
I can't believe that all of the build up, all of the development, from those early chapters to now, I cannot believe that it will all be for nothing. That it will be completely negated in one movie.

With Kishimoto as a writer, believe it!

Now now 20 pages can blow u away my friend. I know u wanted to see naruto and sakura having some moments together have discussion about their relationship. But this is a shounen manga. No romance manga. So i dont think any of that will be included . Believe me i am disappointed more than any one. Cuz narusaku is my way of life and naruto is my ideal. I ve felt him inside me as its all happening to me . Cuz my life is very rough too. I want him to get the best . Succeed everyehere. And he will. He will get everything he wanted . But we cant decide how. Its on kishi. And whatever he will do he will fo his best to make naruto the happiest person in the narutoverse. Yes i agree its a bit rush ending but it is how this is supposed to be and there is no dening it!You can see this as me venting. I'm not happy at all with what I'm seeing when the manga is about to end, and I really doubt the last two chapters will change much. If by some miracle NS happens, I know I'm not going to like how Kishi makes it canon.

You know...i remember seeing the trailer for Godzilla, which made it seem like it was the villain or the bad thing the people had to get rid of. And then when i actually went to see the movie it turned out to be the exact opposite. I guess what I'm trying to say here is that the trailer of a movie doesn't always give you the right idea of a story. The only way you will know for sure is if you have background info on it, which in naruto's case is the manga. With that being said, it's hard for me to lose hope knowing that there are signs that point to naruto and sakura ending up together. This is why i think everyone should hold off on the negativity at least until the last chapter and don't be annoyed with Kishi or sp if this is the way the trailer is. You never know....it may not be like what it seems and is put this way for money making purposes. And sp wouldnt be the first organization to do this. It is almost a given in most trailers. And i know that this has been said before but i felt like it had to be said again.

Hey, that interview where Kishimoto said her might resolve one pairing, exactly when did that happen? During part one, the start of part two? All I know is that it's years old.
If it's from the start of part two or before....well,I was thinking.
Okay, since no one asked, I'll go ahead and say what I was thinking anyway
If this interview was from part one/beginning of part two....well, in this interview, when Kishi was asked about pairings he said he hadn't really thought about it. Followed by his statement that he might resolve one pairing.
My thought was...well, if one goes by part two, then NH really would seem to have more of a chance. Part two is overwhelmingly supportive of NS. Again, perhaps it was after this interview that we began getting actual NS development? And before he wasn't really bothering with pairings much at all?

Trailers can be very easily manipulated.
Yes. And it's already been demonstrated that one scene definitely was manipulated. (The hands-on-shoulders thing. If you look, those aren't Naruto's hands.)
The part where Naruto looks at Hinata could easily be unrelated as well. (And Konan-sama made a post explaining that the angles and backgrounds seem to suggest they aren't standing next to each other.)

We all basically feel the exact same way.
Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.
Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.
I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.
