Not much. The story won't make sense still.

We pretty much just wouldn't know how well NaruSaku would actually work is what your saying? I think... The ending needed at least 5 more chapters preferably to make some sense

Well yeah, that would have helped but the journey still won't be redeemed. We went through this to receive something it didn't lead to. It's a parody route without the laughs.

This is how bad the Naruto series has gotten. I rather have this than the canon. I rather have the kitteny, violent, whore-ish Hinata than the canon Hinata who is always quiet, useless, and gets praise for nothing. I rather have the Filler Sakura who oogles over Menma because he is calm, cool, and collective even if he is an introvert rather than the lying scumbag who uses people to like a game that we got in the canon. I rather have the Sasuke who is a womanizer and is seen as a cheap flirt, than the the garbage Sasuke we got that abandons everything he had for the sake of “because someone told him to.”

I rather have Road to Ninja than the canon ending.

I know what people will say: “I rather have neither and the canon be something better than either one of these garbage.” Yeah, I know. Welcome to a good 80% of the Naruto fandom who find the ending garbage. We all wanted it to be better. We all wanted it to be written so great that it would have made history as one of the best anime since DBZ, but no. We get this…or we get worse.

The point is not accepting one or the other. The point is that when you have a filler make MORE SENSE than the actual canon there is something terribly wrong. When you have a Alternate Universe be more true to the characters than the actual canon universe…you really have to wonder how much you have messed up.

As Sakura says here I want to say to Kishimoto: “I don’t need a cheap flirt like you.” I don’t need you keep lying to me and pretending that SS and NH is okay. I don’t need you to keep trying to convince me that the ending was “just as planned” when even you cannot keep the story straight. I don;t need you to keep teasing NS and SNS all because the fandoms don;t want to read this series anymore and you’re desperate to get fans back. I don’t need any of it.

Well in a sense it was the last in that it was the last movie with Naruto as the lead. From this point any movies afterwards will have Boruto as the lead

Cause we all saw just how much of a "lead" Boruto was in "his own movie"...

No one in Naruto anymore is good sadly they all suck and this can all be thanks to Hinata and Sasuke.

Kishi is a dog nothing more nothing else, while us the true fans of Naruto who cared for the story and how it should have ended are Wolves we are noble to the very end. While Kishi and others are nothing more than a dog who sells out in the end.

I wonder just how much Road to Ninja spoiled us... yeah I understand NaruSaku had it's development on it's own, but I wonder how much different our outlooks would be if RTN didn't exist? 

I agree with touken, it will not change anything.
After all Rtn is not canon. I personally never used it as the argument for why NS will become canon.

It's not so much used as arguments for NS becoming canon, but more to show just how ruined the general canon became when so many people see the non-canon material, which is pretty much everything being a complete 180, as far more believable and likable than the actual canon.

Like Hinata - maybe not as far as RtN has her, but I definitely prefer that version of Hinata far more than the thing the canon shoved down our throats, like if they had actually developed her properly, allowed her to get over her shyness, actually got truly stronger, more confident and whatnot.

She would be a fun character but would I still like her? Not better than Sakura.

Only 18 million? That's quite low when you compare it to other films, like Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F which managed to make close to 10 million here in America alone, and now it's grand total is 61 million. There's no way Boruto will hope to reach that much given it's only very limited openings here in America come October.

This^ now if someone translate this to Japanese and sends it to Kishimoto so he can know how the NS fandom as well as the general fandom feels about his series.

But the problem with that is Kishi won't give two kittens, I mean with other writers they want to know how the games, shows books and so on are and what should be fixed with fanfic writers Kishi nope even if this was giving to him he is too stuck up and won't give a kitten.

so yeah Kishi is living a lie that he him self has created and one day he will catch up on him. That is the one thing he will learn one day that you can't run from what you have done.

Pierrot is either hoping to bolster ratings by using a beloved movie's thematic content or they're looking to butcher RTN so that it can better coincide with their ending.
