I feel like having Sasuke as the final task is a bad idea because I would have prefer to showcase that bond in a good term, because fans should be reminded on why is it good in the first place. Instead, they kept banking nostalgia and flashback that starts to contradict the past in a way. I feel like Kishi shouldn't play that card of two of them in the past design doing the seal of trust from VotE, because in chapter 698/699, it didn't really capture the same passion and it felt redudant. But that's just me.

I wouldn't even call them friends. At most they had a mutual sense of respect and acknowledgement from each other, and that's it. The "brother" thing was just a way to keep Sasuke relevant, as originally Naruto was going to be the sage's reincarnation, as opposed to only Ashura's. Naruto was leaving Sasuke behind in all respects. They're relationship was the most forced thing in the manga, pre NH and SS.

There are no final villain as soon as kishi said that naru vs sasu is the last battle of manga.
For me, They should fight three times. If kishi truly intend to make this manga about rivalry.
