I thought they toned it down a bit. However they took it and turned it way up to 11.

If this wasn't a kids show then you can imagine what scenes would've been in it.

Yep meaning he not into girls all that much, he just likes to use them to show his true lover Sasuke that he can be a kitten to woman as well then again Kishi thinks lowly of woman so no shock there, then again so do the NH/SS fans as well.

 

But hey been playing MGS 5 and you know what Kojima he how bad ass the woman are and no kitten love love like Naruto has for Sasuke.

Hi folks, how's it going? Any news on the movie sales? I'd like to benchmark with RTN and see if it gains more or gains less.

As of 26/08/2012, RTN made about USD 17.2 million (before inflation and exchange rate difference). Exchange rate between 1 USD = 78 JPY on August 2012 -- http://www.exchange-...SD/JPY/8-1-2012

So, you guys can derive how much it made in JPY back then.

“Boruto: Naruto the Movie” has earned about $16.8 million since its Aug. 7 premiere in Japan, making it the top-grossing release in the 11-movie “Naruto” franchise.
The previous record was set of $16 million was set last year by “The Last: Naruto the Movie.”

I don't know if I'm glad this movie made more money than the last or not.

Since the last was just a crappy NH movie, I'm glad it didn't make the most money. However, since this movie made so much, it might make SP think they can continue with this train wreck of a series.

I just hope, if they do try to continue without Kishimoto, their project ends up flopping, so that this series can die.

I still say the numbers for this movie aren't very impressive. These last two movies were billed as canon and the last Naruto movies. Yet they still didn't necessarily blow the next best earning, non-canon movie out of the water. Those two movies, with the amount of advertising and extras they offered should have made a lot more money for canon/end of franchise movies.

I guess it ultimately comes down to how much they really made once you subtract how much of the budget was used towards the movie

This is how bad the Naruto series has gotten. I rather have this than the canon. I rather have the kitteny, violent, whore-ish Hinata than the canon Hinata who is always quiet, useless, and gets praise for nothing. I rather have the Filler Sakura who oogles over Menma because he is calm, cool, and collective even if he is an introvert rather than the lying scumbag who uses people to like a game that we got in the canon. I rather have the Sasuke who is a womanizer and is seen as a cheap flirt, than the the garbage Sasuke we got that abandons everything he had for the sake of “because someone told him to.”

I rather have Road to Ninja than the canon ending.

I know what people will say: “I rather have neither and the canon be something better than either one of these garbage.” Yeah, I know. Welcome to a good 80% of the Naruto fandom who find the ending garbage. We all wanted it to be better. We all wanted it to be written so great that it would have made history as one of the best anime since DBZ, but no. We get this…or we get worse.

The point is not accepting one or the other. The point is that when you have a filler make MORE SENSE than the actual canon there is something terribly wrong. When you have a Alternate Universe be more true to the characters than the actual canon universe…you really have to wonder how much you have messed up.

That’s all I am saying

As Sakura says here I want to say to Kishimoto: “I don’t need a cheap flirt like you.” I don’t need you keep lying to me and pretending that SS and NH is okay. I don’t need you to keep trying to convince me that the ending was “just as planned” when even you cannot keep the story straight. I don;t need you to keep teasing NS and SNS all because the fandoms don;t want to read this series anymore and you’re desperate to get fans back. I don’t need any of it.
