And consider the fact Naruto and Sasuke only actually fought for 3 chapters (695-7) and did nothing but talk in 694 (not counting their clash at the end) and 698. 

 

I've said before, and I'll say it again, whatever pairing becomes canon in the manga is going to be rushed and poorly written, but at this point, I couldn't care less. Gimme my NaruSaku ending. Let the fans fix the rest in fan fiction.

Why do you want Naruto confess love to Sakura?

1.Sai already told to Sakura and if it wasn't enough to make Sakura falling in love into Naruto as chapters 539+540+693 showed, then there's no point about it, because Sai told to Naruto that he told "it" to Sakura. Also, when Sakura woke up she didn't only cared for Naruto but Sasuke too, so the genjutsu didn't work as hoped.

2.Even if Naruto would do what's the chances that Sakura wouldn't just simply telling him that he likes him as a friend or a brother? You must calculate this chance too, not just the one that you/we wish for.

3.Naruto didn't said to Minato that it is Sakura before Minato could gone (http://www.mangaread...t/naruto/691/17 + http://www.mangaread...t/naruto/691/18), so probably Naruto may find another girl who is neither Sakura nor Hinata and will be introducted in the movie. After all, if he was talking about Sakura he could say it to his father directly for real and not joke like when Minato got there to the battlefield - justified, both that and the one before were nothing more but shipping teases.

 

I just don't understand why do you want force Kishimoto to do a perfectly wasting confession? I just can't see why would Sakura suddenly love Naruto suddenly why it wasn't Naruto whom she was thinking about in chapter 539+540.

 

Don't misunderstand, I'm not anti-shipping it, I just can't see the point. To be honest, Kishi kittened up the entire "romances". If I would it be then Naruto could have already a girlfriend somewhere between chapter 300 and 500. What was Kishimoto holding back to not parring Naruto with someone?

Actually, it's said that there will be 44 pages in full color, which means that chapter 700 alone will contain those 44 pages. Add to that chapter 699 and that means we still have over 60 pages of content still to be revealed. That's way more than enough time to resolve everything.

 

I still believe in Kishi's words about ending the story conclusively. I won't stop believing.
